Why LW2 says that it's incompatible with this mod?

I don't know if it's intended but my soldiers don't gain any max health when ranking up , like my Capt. would still have 5 health , is that a bug or something ?

LW's Officer feature isn't in this mod. I think Ginger ported the LW Officer but, iirc, there are unfixed issues with their mod. Best thing to use is "LordAbizi's Battlefield Leadership Training"

anyone else unable to get MK 2 and MK 3 gauntlets for technical? looking at the LW2 wiki, it seems you're supposed to unlock them by researching magnetic weapons... except i have, there are still no gauntlets :( trying to add w console commands but either my IDs are wrong or it doens't work

so i came back after some time and the combative perk doesnt block the first strike of the chosen assassin anymore. I remember it did, some change or rather a mod conflict on my side?

Got a clone wars modpack going, trying to use this mod and while it IS strictly working, it is not replacing the base game classes. Using commanders choice for class selection, I also have additional classes, such as tank, akimbo, commando etc.
Could these be causing conflicts, or is it just commanders choice displaying the redundant picks?

Whenever New Promotion Screen by Default is recommended / required, use Community Promotion Screen instead.

It says the mod is dependent on "New Promotional Screen by Default" But that mod is Deprecated. So how do i make this mod work?

Just to clarify this mod disables the 4 basic classes of xcon 2 correct so if I have this mod on I lose access to the original classes?

Rating down because, over about a year f my being lazy, the game still calls this LongWar2Abilities (paraphrasing) and was an absolute cunt to figure out which one was borking

So this mod is a prerequisite for another mod. I'd just like to ask: Since I'm using RPGO, will this mod change/overwrite or do something unexpected with my classes? I'm asking because in RPGO, every class starts as "Soldier". I couldn't figure it out myself as I'm pretty stupid but I'm sure someone more knowledgeable already knows and perhaps could let me know? Thanks in advance. :)

I think there are different types of Bladestorm, some trigger on reaction and some don't
IIRC, "Bladestorm Customization" allow configuring

Not sure where else to ask for help so I hope someone sees this. For some reason Bladestorm on the Kenshi perk tree for shinobi doesn't work the same way as the Ranger's Bladestorm for me. Went into a mission and did the usual, send my ranger into a cluster of enemies for an ambush and watch them trigger Bladestorm while they run away. Went into a new mission with a Shinobi and did the same thing. Except, they only murked the one alien while the others ran off WITHOUT triggering Bladestorm. I loaded several times after trying to fix it for a few hours and here's what I tried. Yes the Shinobi had Bladestorm, yes they were adjacent to the Shinobi, yes I tried downloading a mod fix, yes I went into the files as suggested and config but couldn't find anything on Bladestorm, and yes I tried googling it and only found one reddit post with my exact problem but no one put up a solution. Any suggestions?

Is this mod intended to be used in Long War, or just normal War of the Chosen?

Pretty sure they don't get any. Been a while since I played with these classes though.

Where can I find a mod for the GTS for these classes? The GTS only has the basic classes for upgrades for me, and none of these ones. (Note: I did not a full LW2 Pack, just this mod. The classes work, it's just just that I now started getting some of the classes to Captains, and see no upgrades for them)

Kiruka on the mod page says that it's pretty easily to convert and I kinda have everything Kiruka's overhaul needs (Shadow Ops Perks and LW2 Classes and Perks) but still struggle to make those 3 work.

This will NOT show up in my AML. I unsubscribe, refresh, resubscribe, refresh...the mod count never changes. Plus when I launch the game it always says "INSTALL LW2 CLASSES AND PERKS"

Dragon thank you for the answer, that worked perfectly (the second time I tried!). I tried it last night just before asking and it didn't show the base game classes at all, but after a PC restart this morning (for scheduled updates ) they are back in. Thank you kindly for the info, this fixes everything

Gonna ask the question, is there a way to disable the new classes this mod adds from appearing and reinstate the old classes? This mod is a direct requirement for another class mod, but otherwise runs counter to my preferred setup... (if the answer is no that's fine and understandable, thank you from all of us for making content!)
