@Mlie
Link doesn't work. I can't find the mod on the workshop, either.
Stallion  [author] Mar 19, 2020 @ 11:48pm
Sorry guys, I had a lot of help putting this together and I just do not have the ability to update it to 1.1. I miss using it too.

I give my full permission to anyone who does have the abilities to update it.
Mitz Mar 19, 2020 @ 1:41pm
1.1, more like, it's on the to-do list for Mlie's team (I added it :3)
Likely only broken a bit by the green thumb trait, new backstories (possibly?) and harmony crud.

@Stallion I really enjoy this mod - do you plan on continuing it? if not, do you mind posting the source code? I'd like to try to keep it going
Space_Lettuce_OG May 22, 2018 @ 1:50pm
So, is it better to have this mod below race mods in the load order, or above it?
Is there a general rule of, it being better for it to be higher or lower in the mod load order?
Mitz May 16, 2018 @ 2:18pm
can you disable the "no random skills" for aliens?
Stallion  [author] May 12, 2018 @ 4:19pm
@Kaire I'd love to implement something like that but unfortunately that's far above my current skill level. It'd require assembly editing (.DLLs) which I can't do.
Kalre May 12, 2018 @ 10:29am
Also finding Pawns with passion for shooting is a pain (maybe im just unlucky? ) Great mod tought !
Kalre May 12, 2018 @ 10:28am
Is there any way to make this more consistent with itself ? Per example, most precise miners never have passion for mining wich is imo kinda silly :p, this applies to all others as well like Butcher and so on.
R4skall May 1, 2018 @ 10:25am
@Stallion♞ i just got this mod cause it seemed like a good idea but wheres the config for it? its not on the list of mod settings for me.
Soggy Noodle Apr 24, 2018 @ 2:31pm
Hey stallion, if ur in the rimworld discord server then give me a ping or look in the troubleshooting channel. i've been having some errors with your mod @soggynoodle on discord
Armedwithpuns Apr 20, 2018 @ 5:12pm
i'd like to get the pyromaniac bit, but only that, does that mean i have to get the whole mod and disable all the other bits?
strkrjns Apr 17, 2018 @ 2:34pm
That was it! Not gonna mess with all of my race mods, like them too much. Thanks so much!
Stallion  [author] Apr 17, 2018 @ 8:31am
@Enter Name

Thanks for the feedback! This is a known issue that has cropped up recently and I am still exploring possible fixes. As you said although you will recieve the warning the mood debuff will not occur. Ideally I want to get rid of the warning too though.

@strkrjns

This will be due to a mod that adds a race (i.e. Asari) that tries to force the beautiful trait that I have deleted. If you find the file in your mods folder that is trying to add the beauty trait and delete that line it should fix the problem. I'd be looking through any files relating to races being added.
Enter Name Apr 16, 2018 @ 10:59pm
Discovered a slight bug. While the Brawler trait no longer has the mood debuff associated with using a ranged weapon, the game still provides the warning about using said weapon on a brawler. This goes as far as having a keeping a warning of a brawler with a ranged weapon on the tray. Has no impact on gameplay with moods or otherwise, beyond my own mood having to constantly look at it. Otherwise, this is an amazing mod, no more cleaning incapable colonists!
strkrjns Apr 16, 2018 @ 4:44pm
The error repeats, lagging the hell out of the game.
strkrjns Apr 16, 2018 @ 4:44pm
My game is heavily modded and the addition of this mod is giving me the error "rimworld beauty found no data at degree 2, returning first define". I know this could just be a conflict with another mod. This mod looks very nice!!
Demopan Apr 4, 2018 @ 6:57am
@Stallion

Thanks fam.
I still find that the game sometimes generates some ridiculous pawns, like one time I had a couple with something like 17 in mining, but I guess that in the end such results are unavoidable.
Stallion  [author] Apr 3, 2018 @ 6:02pm
@Demopan

Should be 100% compatible.
Demopan Apr 3, 2018 @ 12:20pm
How does this mod interact with the Psychology mod?
Compatible?
Erik Mar 25, 2018 @ 2:35pm
I saw you removed all the "PsychicSensitivity" traits, but you didn't list "Psychically Deaf" in your description above, the most extreme possitive one, did you just forget to list it in the description, or did you forget to remove it?
Welwyn (Garden City) Mar 24, 2018 @ 10:48pm
Merci beacoup!!!!! C'est incroyable:steamhappy:
Stallion  [author] Mar 22, 2018 @ 11:51pm
@erik_dc666

To be honest I'm not sure. Sorry dude!
Erik Mar 22, 2018 @ 12:07pm
how advisable would it be to add this to existing saves?
I already found out I'll have to update the save file to remove all the traits you removed...

any other things that can/will go wrong? any advise?
jojobe Mar 22, 2018 @ 8:50am
hi i just tried it and it works thank you.
Stallion  [author] Mar 22, 2018 @ 4:34am
@jojobe that mod will not be effected by the mod. It is totally compatible.
jojobe Mar 22, 2018 @ 3:28am
am i able to resest the age requirement. Im playing with the childrens mod. Kids cant be born at age 20
carewolf Mar 19, 2018 @ 2:37pm
Hmm.. Sounds a bit overdone, fixing it up was good, but 100% balance?
tg9 Mar 19, 2018 @ 6:56am
I agree with Sixdd, its a big project (probably, i don't know to mod lol) but can ya add to tthe mod settings page options of which features ya want on?
Laine Mar 16, 2018 @ 9:37pm
i find it insane that every time i roll, i find 80% of the people i find to be good at taming. Is this maybe a hint that good people are good at working with animals
Alpha Lima Echo Xray Mar 16, 2018 @ 5:09pm
Love the mod, brings new life into new maps. The only thing I wish for is a excel link for your backstories and traits.

Keep up the good work.
Stallion  [author] Mar 16, 2018 @ 6:09am
@Uthriel Not currently but it's something I'll be looking into in the future.
Frying_Dutchman Mar 15, 2018 @ 4:42pm
Could you make a trait that reduces skill degradation?
The Rabid Otter Mar 15, 2018 @ 2:21pm
Reading the description of the changes, I am left wondering if vanilla RimWorld and modded Rimworld is akin to the the difference between 1st edition D&D and 5th edition. To continue a bad analogy, more mods (or at least this one) usually mean less chaos in rolling character stats/skills, more survivable pawns.

At the same time, I sometimes like having lunatic pawns. This mod strikes me as something to use when I want a colony that could well last a very long-time.

Thanks!
Alatheus Mar 15, 2018 @ 7:10am
Does the mod make any changes to passion?

It'd be nice to see traits and passions linked in some way. So if you have the green thumb trait you're more likely to have some sort of passion for growing for example.
#6 Mar 14, 2018 @ 7:02pm
I like what this mod does but I have one complaint with the description, there is no explanation of how to disable the parts you don't want. Other than that this'll definitely be making an appearance in my next playthrough.
Meowtown Mar 14, 2018 @ 12:37pm
I cant make my pawn in my own likeness without staggeringly ugly, annoying voice, and creepy breather though :(
andrewjonjones Mar 14, 2018 @ 12:22pm
I found Pyromaniac the most annoying trait especially when it's traders who have it and you cannot do anything to stop them unlike with colonists and visitors Glad to see something done about them.
Laine Mar 14, 2018 @ 8:45am
Suddenly the game becomes a little less annoying to start
Master Cat Mar 13, 2018 @ 11:02pm
