@crabbyease I'm not sure you can use hats while playing Mustache Girl, which is the whole point of her character. You're supposed to rely on the bombs and some of her unique abilities like the wall kick.

Ice platforms are NOT broken, you just need to get the timing down, which is not hard (bomb AS SOON AS YOU LAND ON THE ICE PAD).

Very fun mod, my personal favorite in the Workshop, although some levels unfortunately cannot be beaten with Mustache Girl (i.e. Bow Kid's Beach Party, the Super Mario Galaxy Autumn planet one, etc.) due to how they were designed specifically for Hat Kid's abilities

This is the Plague Knight of AHIT, a very fun moveset but you'll have to relearn the game. SaraBerri's video linked below is very helpful, but I'll just cover a few things for newcomers:
- You can't wall climb, but you can wall kick to gain extra height.
- You can't homing attack, but you can air attack at will, you just have to aim it. This can also be used to extend your jump.
- You have 3 bombs (regular, dweller and ice) and you're meant to bomb jump with all of them.
- MU throws a bomb below herself when you're descending , don't bomb too early.
- You can bomb jump off walls with regular and dweller bombs. Yes, with dweller bombs. You just bounce off the green stuff instead of revealing it first.
- You can inspect the time piece vault at the ship and "steal" a time piece, but it's just a reskin of the regular bomb.

Play Mu's Ninja Training to practice all these things.

I really appreciate it! love the video. sometimes I forget people play these things lol. warms my heart to see someone discover it even years later. and yeah I think the ice platforms require you to land on them in a very specific way... or maybe they're just broken again lol. you might enjoy my chase badge if you're looking for another weird challenge!

There's some walls in the game (and mod levels) that give Hat Kid infinite wall run.
Can those walls be detected by Mu's wall kicks for infinite wall kicks?

Mu is absolutely best girl ever and this Mod finally gives her some justice! I like the little details like voice clips or giving her a location on the space ship, the going back in time background story as to why she is there is great. Thank you for the mod!

So I was just goofing around trying to see how many death wishes could be done has Mustache Girl and I noticed that when you use the dweller bombs to try and kill the Dweller Crows they aren't possible to kill. However you could kill the Dweller Raccoon using it.
Also after using the Ice Bomb on yourself, you seem to lose the ability to pull yourself up on ledges.
I don't know if it really matters or not but I figured I mention it just in case.

I definitely have seen Mustache girl's on Vanessa's Curse before, so it is possible. though when I attempted to use her with a friend, they told me that I was in fact Hat kid. So I'm not to sure if my configurations were correct. If anyone does know how get it to work, I'm sure we'd all appreciate it!

Yes, it should work in online party, I've definitely seen a Mustache girl in online party before, and I believe she isn't even off-limits for Vanessa's Curse (this part needs to be confirmed, I've definitely haven't seen one in Vannessa's Curse yet).

To answer the question on how to kick, it's basically an aerial attack (the same input as the homing aerial attack hatkid has)

Very good mod, the "sneak while i distract 'em" line is very out-of-place for a "save an old man in Mafia Town" voiceline trigger though.

hm I was wondering, would it be possible to add a time stop field effect to the time piece weapon bomb? it would add more reason for using it and would make sense given that its a time piece

Well still confused on all this but! When I try to use MU’s alternative weapons (time piece and such) it kinda glitches out and doesn’t select the weapon? (So stuck on the default all the time.) I’ve finished the game and stuff, so is it unlockable or is it a bug?

So... been a while huh? It took me two years since the last post, but I started to feel nostalgic, and finally added some more entries to Mustache Girl's Diary. Here's to the Mod that paved the way for Playable Characters all across the a HiT modding community!

Technically all bounce platforms are kind of broken with ice bombs and you need a specific way of using those in order to not be stuck in an infinite loop or end up with a smaller distance than intended (in case of the finale the 2nd case can end up with an instant death due to being stuck as an ice statue on lava).
As someone who beat the entire game as jumpless mu i know most (if not all) of the struggles.
