It's a little complicated, you need VTFEdit, GCFscape, and a photo editing program. You need to unpack the pak.dir that contains all the VTF files, with GCFscape, and then edit the VTF files to your liking, and repack them into the game using the L4D2 authoring tools.

If you don't mind me asking, how simple was the process of making this mod, I want to make versions of the specials that look mossy and overgrown, but I have no idea how.

Perfect for the Kaboomer.

You can't use two mods for the same model at once, because they conflict with each other. The game does not know how to mix them together. The reason why the Boomette works, and not the Boomer, because the "Superman Skin" only affects the Boomer, whereas the Boomette skin is unchanged, and will still function.

I have a mod for the male boomer that is compatible with this mod but when I go in game the molten skin is not there, just for the boomete.
If you were wondering, the mod for the boomer gave him a superman shirt that's all.

If I ever get back into skinning, I'll update the skins.

this is the best boomer skin at the workshop so far and i give it 5/5, sad thing is since when lava can come out from zombies? if i were you i would change the orange-yellow colors in the cracks on the boomer's body into something like blood and pus (redish fading out into lighter color)
and give him some dirty looking clothes, and not burnet suit.

@Cobra_Red this file just changes the textures, it does not alter damage. If you want something like that play XPMod servers, they add new effects to the classes in the game.
