Is it possible to modifiy the files too give more number to the units?

I have a strange problem. The Oda clan's tachi ashigaru are weaker in close combat - they have an attack of four, while the other clans have an attack of nine. Shouldn't the Oda ashigaru be stronger?

fixed it! for anyone with the same issue, unsubscribe, then go to manage game files> data> then look for the unique factions file, delete it, resubscribe and it itll be updated

new update isnt working or something... still need to research for ashigaru units and the mob units are still in, pretty annoying.

mob units are still in and no mod is removing them...

This affects realm divide meter for both shogun 2 and FOTS.. Don't install and save yourself a headache. Great mod otherwise

What does the Hattori *Diplomatic Blackmail* do and how do i use it ?

After some time I managed to make it work. For some strange reason, the problem was not the arrangement of the mods in the lancher (which I had already checked earlier), but the order in which they were activated. In particular, the moment of turning on the sashimono mod. Don't ask me why xd.

Alternatively you could try messing with load order, though I've not found it necessary with just Jaki's and my other misc mods

That is quite weird, as I do have and occasionally use one of those diplomatic favor increasing mods (Slazen's Diplomacy Tweaks I believe it's called) and it works fine. Are you sure the issue isn't on Expanded Japan's side?

They are sadly not compatible. I had checked it. Not even mods that increase the amount of favor. Probably because the mod changes diplomacy regardless of whether it takes into account the realm devide or not. I think that chanching it back to normal made code even more imcompatible. Which is sad because Jakis mod along expanded japan ware like must have few years back.

@iwonmar ... The extended japan diplomacy tweaks that were included in the previous version(s) of this mod were why I had not seen RD before. I thought you'd be aware, seeing as you were just complaining about how it affects Expanded Japan. As for your 'stay in vanilla' comment, I'll politely decline. Jaki's makes for a very fun game with the changes to many factions, and I like the fast pace of the vanilla map where I can complete a campaign in a single day.

I didn't spend much time looking since I wasn't particularly motivated, but a quick search turned up "Expanded Diplomacy Tweaks" as a mod that might help with your issue. If not, there are plenty of other diplomacy mods compatible with Expanded Japan, and I'm sure one of them will work with Jaki's.

If nothing else, there are several mods that increase the amount of favor you earn from alliances and other positive diplomacy, so those would at least let you hold allies through Realm Divide. I wish you luck in your search.

You don't play on extended japan? Stick to vanilla then. I really don't know what else you have downloaded that you are seeing for the first time realm devide. But it had to be bad. With vanilla you won't have such problems anymore.

Also, the mod is working as updated on my new machine; I can only assume some steam workshop goofiness was holding on to the old files on my old one. Glad to actually see Realm Divide for once

Who was so bright to ask for removal of expaned japan twiks for realm devide? Now its f nightmare. Also none of diplomacy mods works with it so you cant fix it.

I think there is a problem with the unique Shimazu units besides Katana Samurai. At least for me, I'm unable to recruit them, and they aren't displayed in the research tree or Buildings. Naginata Dojo does literally nothing lol

Shouldn't the Otomo Portuguese Terços also have 150 Range?
I think Mounted gunners only having 100 is fine, otherwise they'd be too busted.

I'm having an issue where it seems that I don't have the updated version of the mod (realm divide still modified, mob units still an awful block to ashigaru for the first two turns) and I'm not sure how to fix that. I tried unsubscribing and resubscribing a few times, but no dice.

Im loveing this , but could you make oda faction color to black and yelow instead yelow and pruple like in ,,sengoku campain mode" flag a armors black and yelow and faction background black .? for expanded japan cmaping map or her/him creator?

splendid, I've been trying to find naginata ashigaru mods but most are already not working and the one overhaul mod that has it completely reworked the entire game

DLC is only required to play the DLC factions and experience the changes that this mod makes to them.

I don't have the Otomo dlc yet and really not that interested in Otomo at all

Finally updated. The problem was with the file type (JPG) of the original cover picture... of all the things. it has now been updated to .PNG.

Jaki said he tried to update it but couldn't on steam. would be cool if it was on Moddb or something idk.

i dont think this mod is updated @jaki in the description it says 06.04.24 but steam says last update was 31.07.2018

Konrad, did you start a new campaign? Some things are loaded at campaign start based on files such as startpos. You may need to start a fully new campaign for any mod changes, whether added or removed, to show up.

why cant i disable this mod? even when i disable it in the mod manege i still get all of the custom units like Shimazu Yari Samurai. i have unsubed from the mod yet i still have all the custom units. no other mods are enable
