It could even be the load order.
but i wonder why only ur heater vanishes?
then again i havent tried building every single thing in the game yet since installing Replace Stuff last week so i dunno
i dunno im just taking a stab in the dark now hehe
i cant think of any that would effect it tho.
maybe mods that add furniture?
i have those lord of the rings mods by jecrel so ive been making dwarven furniture.
what about mods that effect building meterials? i have stuffed floors and a bone mod tho i used steel when building the heater.
maybe it was a 1 off glitch. ill try building another 1 and see if it happens again
Yeah, turning the heater off doesn't actually stop it from producing heat for me either. Reddist heat has the same bug.
If I'm correct, the fueled heater requires 6 chemfuel per day. I'd double check my math, but that makes the fueled heater 9x less efficient than using a fueled generator to power a heater.
So, to be equivalent to the games efficiency, perhaps the fueled heater should consume 2/3 chemfuel per day, and the fueled lamp 3/10 chemfuel per day. Of course, part of what's going on here is that the chemfuel generator in B18 is probably OP.
Well, or just make it possible to set the temperature
1. After turning off the heater, it heats and continues to consume fuel.
2. After the fuel runs out, the heater continues to heat.
3. Kerosene lamps continue to consume fuel after shutdown, but do not lighting

What we need now is surface pools of Chemfuel on extreme maps (desert, frozen) and this plus the lamp will feel like a very nice technological step.
