So, here's the thing: When you click the "subscribe" button, the mod gets downloded to My Documents/My Games/Sid Meier's Civilization 5/MODS. Within that folder should be a WHOLE ton of folders with names corresponding to any other mods you have installed.
There should also be a .civ5mod file named "the candy kingdom [bnwgk] (v 5)" For whatever reason (at least, for me) Civ 5 doesn't actually like .civ5mod files. But that's ok, because it's easy to fix!
Step 1: Create a file in the MODS folder (I don't think it's name matters, but if it does, I called mine "The Candy Kingdom BNWGK (v 5)", and it worked)
Step 2: Get a file reader like 7zip or Winrar (I haven't tested winrar, but I imagine it will work too)
Step 3: Open the Civ5Mod file with said file opener
Step 4: Extract every file in the Civ5Mod file to the folder you made earlier
And done! Now just go into Civ 5 and make sure it worked! It worked for me, so that doesn't help... well, sorry.
Cheers bud, I love you work! Keep it up we all really appreciate it :D
Oh yeah, if i have both DLCs, will both versions work in my game?
Great work, though
Just in case that helps. :/
