Heh no worries man. As a fellow mod dev I feel your pain. Thanks for keeping this beauty of a mod around from the time I started playing stellaris for the first time XD it is a must have!

Yes I confirmed that problem, for some reason the devs use a planet killer validity check for building the orbital rings... just another facepalm stellaris code moment.

The planet killer checks have been a pain either way because the code is just so awkward, will probably take a while to fix, I might have to redo all of them from scratch.

Something you edited in the latest 3.8 ver causes you to be unable to build orbital rings on planets.

That's because it's outdated. This mod also doesn't support the two new colossuses... colossi... I've uploaded an updated version.

okay so it works, but the weird thing is: the planet cracker doesn't, the neutron sweep works fine though

Not reading a description properly isn't a sign of stupidity.

Have you never, yourself, asked for help or said something is broken because you didn't read the instructions properly or at all? It's not an uncommon thing, especially if you use lots of mods and skim the description or in this case don't notice the first title because there is little of relevance underneath it.

Personally, I didn't notice it either until I started looking at the comments to see what people thought of the mod, even though I read through the rest of the description contents, but didn't really pay attention to the titles.

Hi, I have updated Aggressive Crisis Engine and now I need to overwrite planet_is_hostile_or_crisis scripted trigger key with LIOS in order to make my colossi work.

Would you consider making an event setting up a global mod flag so that other mods can detect if it is installed? This way me (ACE) and Inny78 (! The Merger of Rules 3.0) can implement compatibility for your mod.

Something like:

I attempted to use Planet Cracker on a Primitive World outside my borders, it did not work.
Works on planets in my own system, though.

Is this mod still functional? I enabled it mid-playthrough and attempted to use it on a primitive civilization within my borders, and it was still restricted.

Just a heads up. The mod currently is missing the new code from nemesis for the file (01_scripted_triggers_planet_killers.txt) it modifies. As such the Star-Eaters you get near the end of the crisis chain are unable to fire on anything. You can disable the mod and reload mid-game and keep going. Just hold off on waiting till the author has time to update for 3.0.1

I could fix the compatibility issues with Planetary Diversity by adding every "is_planet_class = pc_xxx" in "01_scripted_triggers_planet_killers.txt". In my case it was the Godray giving me Problems. https://pastebin.com/HVeBuN3c

Thank you so much for this. I literally could not use it at all until I got this mod installed. Just to repeat what was said below, if you are using a newer version "you should delete your "mods_registry.json" file in your "documents/Paradox/Stellaris" folder".
