Assuming this mod is no longer maintained, but if I am wrong, then I would like to second Max's request below for a configurable protection time. Have a ton of mods on my server so it can easily take upwards of a minute or 2 (if you're lucky) from the time you hit join to the time you can move around in game.

Hey Temil2006, my peeps are still dying when logging in due to the timer being too short (some load mods slower than others etc), any chance you could just make the 3sec protection timer portion of the mod ini configurable?

Max.. will consider the drowning just haven't gotten around to looking into it as it's not exactly easy to test offline players in dev kit because not an way to simulate that.

In reference to the loot picker upper mod should be fixed. I updated that one and didn't realize that there was some agreement I had to agree to or it marks it as offline. Didn't have to agree to that with any others but ohh well. Should be fixed and showing now.

Ok, Final Update: Both me and that player that keeps dying are still alive! Even 15 hours later after reinstalling the mod. Looks like it might've been an Ark patch that fixed it after all or maybe it just hasnt happened yet. I don't know. I'll keep the mod on my Extinction server and update here if it ever happens again.

I hope so, this mod is really great. I have another update; player that this keeps happening to, it hasnt happened again. I'm not sure if its because the mod is not installed or an Ark patch fixed the problem so tonight im going to reinstall the plugin and see if tomorrow that player is dead again.

this could be related to the same issue that causes dinos to be throwned into the sky and/or disapear when trying to tame them, due to them going under the ground .. which is due to the map and not to the mod. not sure if that is true for players, but I know for extinction, it happens with dinos a bit.

I'm still doing testing; but i do have some news regarding this potential issue. It doesnt happen on any other map; just extinction. I should know more tomorrow.

Something very strange has started happening on my Extinction server and it started after installing this mod. When players log out and stay logged out for a long time (eg. at night and they come back online the next evening) when they connect, they've been killed. There's no entry in the tribe log for what killed them. This even happens when logged out in the safety of a base (server is PvE with friendly fire disabled). I'm uninstalling this mod from my 6 server cluster to see if it fixes, i'll update here if it does fix.

Should be able to toggle infinite stats on the player character, no? Just an idea.

@Temil2006, One way you can acomplish drown protection is to surround the player in a circle which acts similar to the "air" in the Tek Vacuum Compartment.

Max :: will look into the drown protection. will look into protection after login, no garrenties as work and all comes first, but I'll see what I can come up with.

Gabriel :: there is no bubble / zone or anything like that in this. When a player logs off, it simply makes this immune to any dmg accounts, from pvp, dino, etc. it also makes them non-agro while offline, so that they won't draw aggro of the dino and go into a space holder for agro dino that can't attack them.

can you make them invisible as Admin?

can you hide the Engram, as an admin?

can you set it so that the "PVE Pillar" can only be placed once, per tribe or player?

Would you consider:
1. Giving us the ability to set the protection time via ini file as some people / server configs take longer to load in than 3 seconds, we could then tune it for what works for us.
2. Also providing drown protection, can't tell you how many times I have died / drowned from getting DC'd while over water. Would help immensely.
