I'm not sure I quite understand what you mean. Do you mean that they're not in the list when you pick/design your empire but then appear in game?

Have you double checked that it's just not the name that got generated for a random empire rather than the actual prescripted?

Thanks for letting me know, latest hotfix seems to have swapped around the names and put humanoids as 88 and megacorp as 89.

Love the mod! I do seem to have a problem in that the Voor, and the Megacorp species set (Kilik, Orbis, Chinorr, Hazbuzan) continue to insist on turning up. Quite odd, since the others clearly get removed, and there's a matching 88_megacorp file...

@Tantalus Not quite, it removes the default empires that comes with the game like the Blorg and the Tzynn. However the United Nations and Commonwealth of Man is not removed. The random generated empires will still behave the same way as vanilla.

@Peanutcat Thanks for that, I forgot I'd posted here, but I managed to get it all sorted in the end, I now have a personal mod that only spawns humans for everything that uses an organic species, I even put in 22 flavoured empires which fill out the Ark story thread, since 6 were launched and only the Commonwealth of Man and the Crysanthemum are ever mentioned. But it butchers a few mods so I'm not really comfortable releasing it based off other people's hard work, like yours. :)

Rayki, you could probably try nuking the game files that regard species generation, basically only have the human cityscapes, phenotypes etc to chose from while creating both normal and generated nations but it a bad aproach. Best idea is probably to take a look at how the game generates things and try to modify that but I don't even know if that's possible.

It's a long shot but is there a way of removing all Xeno's from the randomly generated empires too? I've been trying for the past few hours to simply spawn a galaxy with 8 Human empires and 1 FE but it only spawns 7 of my custom empires 2 random xeno empires and an FE, reducing the amount of empire spawns only reduces the human empires that spawn, I always get 2 random xeno's no matter what..

It'll be completely random which empires you go up against other than anything you add with mods, humans or custom empires.

just wondering will this get rid of the games most annoying thing of every empire being a dam hive mind or the robot version of it my last game had me vs 15 swarms of the assholes my empire was holding its core worlds but dam they were wearing me down only had 2 fleets left out of the 15 i had with the allies i started with they got eaten
