I looked at the mod file. This should work fine. All the lines on the defines mod file is also still in the game so , should be ok

@Archer - You finding this mod essential for your gameplay sessions is one thing, the way vanilla handles fast travel is another one. I use and like the mod, but I do not find the windup penalty outside of friendly territory "dumb". There is in-game technology which affects sublight speeds and jump charge times already, so said mechanic is actually just being consistent and lore-friendly. Gameplaywise, it also makes sense that you can travel faster within your borders.

@Mayo Not really? We're in space. Travel takes the same ammount of time whereever you are unless you are trying to escape a black hole. If it wasn't for this mod, I wouldn't be playing the game anymore. It's just WAY to slow

Its not that dumb to make travel outside territory slower. Sometimes the AI just loves to run around in your territory. Its kinda a sure way for you to catch up to them. Having slower movement in foreign territory kinda makes sense.

@posthum: I've made a "lite" version that only speeds up sublight speeds very slightly (about 15%) if you're interested in that.

@gvcanada: Yes. Just makes movement faster across the game, doesn't give you an unfair advantage.

I can understand, maybe, such a penalty for entering hostile territory (We have the Tech to block FTL Access to Hyperlanes that access deeper into your territory, after all). But just outside friendly territory in general..... wat.

@Dumpster Fire: Yeah, the farther out you are from friendly territory the longer it takes to spool up and enter a hyperlane. The vanilla multiplier had it capped out at 5 times longer spool times, but I'm not exactly sure how far you had to be for it to hit that cap.

There is a penalty to windup time if you are away from your borders???? That's dumb. It makes no sense, do the ships draw power from your borders or from the reactor on the ship?
