i love this mod and been using it for a while. question though every single playthrough, Khan dies eventually, battle, assassin, misc doesnt matter. and it always results in the diadochi event after 100%. i was wondering what are the parameters for the other outcomes.
one thing i will add dont know it means anything, but during horde crisis the 'khan (enter name)' is not called a khan. his title is dictator is this normal and i consoled into the faction, its authority was set to dictatorial. i thought it should be imperial. my guess no heir so no new khan to keep the horde untied. anyone like to weigh in on this, thanks

Hello, I have noted that this mod causes two blank event boxes to appear every single in-game day. This bug has begun appearing after the 2.7 patch on May 12th. Please see if you can fix this if you have the time, thank you.

maybe increase Khanate strength, in every play through even with this mod, Khan dont last more than a decade 10-15K avergae fleet power is not high enough for a challenge

Not sure - I think it should work as long as the mid game hasn't started yet (2100 standard iirc)

I must be the crazy one. I want the marauders to continue to grow into hordes and continue being pests until they are wiped out lol. No matter whats going on. FE awakend? Who cares, we are pirates..yarr. AI going nuts, universe being invaded by bugs? Nah heck with that, time to make a horde and continue the fight!

Could it me made so that the Khan spawns between the mid-game year and 10 years after ? i like the fact that a Khan is always gonna rise, but your mod makes it so that it's at the exact same date :p

Yeah, that was the issue - it overwrote the marauder changes.
In my tests now, the horde triggered within the first year of the mid-game (like it should) and any marauder raiding fleets that I paid were neutral (like they should be).

Which means this hasn't been updated for 2.0.2, so they will be hostile when they go bash-bash someone else. Not a big deal, but when your trying to get rid of pirates and have a 10k fleet wipe out your puny 2k one, its a little annoying. Looking forward to an update!

Then it should have worked. Usually the Horde gets triggered pretty reliably 100-101 years into the game. I doubt playing longer wíll do anything for the Horde.
It might be that recent changes to the game, I recall something being changed on the marauder hostility? Haven't followed the game much in the last two months, but if I find the time I'll try to see if I can replicate your problem and find a solution.

You can trigger the Horde even earlier by attacking and destroying their homebases, but this mord doesn't require you to do this. It only makes sure the horde awakens by itself as soon as midgame hits. Unless you changed you games midgame start, again, it should be happening normally.

2) I don't think any other of my mods mess with marauders
3) 2 empires
I waited for 110 years, should I wait for another 10-20?
I also tried trigerring event marauder.500 by playing as marauder empire. That started the event, but the marauders don't do anything, they just sit in their system

@Skooma:
1) Are you sure the mod is enabled? I'm not certain if it's savegame compatible, so it might be an issue if you enabled the mod after the game started.
2) Are you sure there's no other mod in your game that modifies the marauder_events?
3) How many marauder empires were in your game to begin with? If it was only one, it might be the reason for the horde not triggering.

It's been 110 years in my game but I haven't seen horde yet. My mid game starts at year 100. Am I missing something? Or is there any conditions I need to fulfill?

The horde is a mid-game crisis and is independent from end-game crises. Thus the end-game crises switch should not affect the Horde.

Afaik there can only be one awakened marauder empire, aka Horde. So no, I don't think you could have infighting between marauders.

Ummm... So, the Marauders might not kick my behind.... Cause I'm 40 years into the game and I have +150 minerals. More than I know what to do with. Its not like I can expand quickly bc I have only +3 influence, and the only planets in my territory that I havent colonized are under size 15. Pls halp

I recall reading the statement that Mid-Game crises are not preventing End-Game crises to spawn. End-Game crises are still limited to one event per game, put as I understand it, the Horde doesn't play a role in it.

Odd. Tested and saw it now, although the Khan is the same for every individual horde still. I'm actually unsure why it would do that, because the only thing this mod actively changes is that it removes any randomness of this event appearing and starts it as soon as we hit mid-game instead.
I'll have another look tomorrow when I'm a tad more awake, maybe I've overseen something. Til then, bear with me and thanks for bringing this to my attention! :)

This turned all marauders into hordes, so now it's 3 instead of one. Is that supposed to happen?
