THEM2 out!

I started working on "THEM 2". The mod will add a fully functiunal giant ants faction to Rusted Warfare. It will be a Total conversion hybrid. By default, the giant ants will be available to train by the main faction. But as other options, a faction selector and an ant nest will be added as selectable starting units in game advanced settings. So it will be possible to play any king of VS you want.

there is a new building called Royal chamber. The builder can build it.

How can I build them?

If i was to make a full conversion mod that replace the main faction by ants, what kind of ants should i use as inspiration?

and i also know how to make factions (kinda, only seen it happen)

hey sushi, scince these are beasically giant ants, add elaets (prob spelled wrong, to lasy to look up), basically yound flying ant qweens

If the dev add custom factions to the game, i might make a full ant faction.

Finally Larvas!! .... i study ants btw . thats why i like ants ,can u add Major soldiers please make it cost like 8000 and 2500 health, 120 damage , they look like soldiers but there more powerful and has bigger heads, keep up the Good Work :)

UPDATE: Giant ant larvas, introduce larvas and burst production to the giant ants. Spawn multiple larvas and then make them all grow into giant ants in one burst!

I changed the color of the sand structures to match the game's sand.

can u add ant eggs, like queen lays egg for 100 and evolve egg to larvae for 300 and hatch larvae for a worker ant for 500 and soldier for 500 , thank you

New update introduce fire ants and some more balance.

I nerfed the ants a little, they were too powerful for their cost.

Until now, i had no idea what that meant. But now i see there was a giant ant mission in Red Alert. This mod is actually based on an old black and white movie that have surprisingly a lot in common with James Cameron Aliens. But that is a nice coincidence.

please add Ant Queen mod !! that has ant queen that lays eggs and turns into workers or soldiers and also add drone ants which fly and also add like a mud wall to make a ant colony base and also please add heavy ants with very high hp like 3000 , thank you im maybe one of your biggest fan !! i like ants , infact theres 2 games which i have on steam , ant queen and empires of the undergrowth , thank you

Well atm its already a worker and a soldier. You might notice each of them produce 2 ressources. There was a queen in the movie so i might make one. Later when i have more time i might make an Ant colony mod but right now there is no extra race selection possible unless i'm proven wrong.
