Perhaps this could be like Red Fox said and can hold 3 different types of charges, and perhaps make it like the vaccinator where it can be switched using middle mouse.

I think it should hold mutiple charges at a time. Then you can deploy then a your time of selection.

I don't know about changing the duration or the number of charges. What I think would be better is a canteen that holds multiple charges of different types, and you can, say, buy an Ammo Refill, a Crit Boost, and an Uber at the same time, and deploy them selectively when the time is right.

I like both ideas, it should be left to the discretiion of valve. I think it should be one for more advanced players, maybe after completing your first full tour. This should get in regardless, with many reasons.
