Hope the work is still ongoing, but no rush. Hopefully it'll be released and have a lot more components to build with.
This mod is still in WIP status.
The hatch / laser cannon / seat / astronaut position / ... have been released as raw design.
The loss of my source file and above all the instability of the game put me off.
Nevertheless I have since rebuilt some models, I have to find the time and the motivation to publish them. I don't know if people are interested by that.
First of all, thank you for your support.
I have already modeled some new parts for TIE Interceptor, Bomber or Advanced and reworked many others.
With the same principle: all models have to be interchangeable and compatible with each other.
But I haven't published them because they need to be polished:
by adding details, optimizing the number of triangles, adding constructions and LOD models etc.
And this takes a very long time.
I'll try to push them,one by one as soon as possible.
This mod doesn't require weaponcore but must be updated

It's a lot of work.
If you think this meets your needs for TIE fighters, I'm OK.
Later on, will be the Creation of Corvette Class ships & Additional fightercraft.
Presently Project, has foundations for Planets (5) functional, 2 Frigates, 1 Corvette, Partial Survival on 1 faction, and baseline turrets (1-3) for 45% of factions' Large-Grid-based Defenses.
The End Game, is essentially a Living Starwars Environment, with the ability to fly CIS, Republic, Rebellion, Galactic Empire, Pirate (Black-Sun, Hutts, etc), Neutrals, and more.
