What I'm trying to find is one where tamed ones don't explode if you slaughter them for meat. Slitting their throats isn't the same as shooting them after all

That's like, the whole point of these animals.

I think you could probably do this better by making it so they have a "fuse" , when incapacitated, they start the fuse, but if they die before exploding, they don't explode.

I was trying to do a mod where the boomrat/boomalope meat lasted longer to balance the incredible annoyance of the explosion but I'll certainly settle for this one! Great Work!
