This was a cool island! Took a bit to find the entrance to the hidden caches and chest. A marauders compass led me here... It's unfortunate to hear it is in an inaccesable spot in the island

The entrance is in the room above the owl, the golden globe in the roof of it has a small hole next to it

Several people have had the bad luck of finding faulty Marauder Compasses leading to this island. The chest is sadly located under the "village" part of the island. A very small remnant of a once deleted cave system have somehow recreated itself and ON TOP OF THAT become the spot of the chest. If you can find a place i've missed that allows you to glitch inside the island and glide over to it, you will probably be the first ever to grab that loot. :steamsad:

I swear I've scoured every building on the contiguous island and I can't find the entrance ANYWHERE. Where the heck is it?!

It's a tight fit but not so troublesome when you find the right angles for the hole.
For the spikes: There is a tutorial at the end of the video above that shows an easy way to get past them. I recommend that people try the dungeon by themselves first though. Like you did.

unable to reach the nodes, maze is a bit too difficult through the spike hall, and getting up through the hole in the ceiling is near impossible

Strange place. Creative use of assets! Seems to be infected by the blue ;-)
