try looking through my workshop, I have made some others with less infected. if you can't find what you want, tell me and i'll customize one for you.
1. Adds 150-200 infected for standard waves and 300 for the finale waves. (Average of 6000 kills per campaign.)
2. Increases backup ammo to 960 for each weapon, excluding the grenade launcher which has 150 back up. (you will need every bullet)
3. Bots will try to complete the level after your death.
4. Bots will now pick up melee weapons.

Mobs spawn every ~75 seconds and I do believe they add up over time.
It's quite hardware demanding, literally hundreds of commons in one screen... I tried to molo something like 2k zombies knocking at my safe door and the game froze.
Good modes:
-machete [or "insert favorite melee here"] in a bottleneck
-gib fest mutation
-chainsaw mutation at a safe room door, normal difficulty.
Got literally 1 FPS at the safe door (before it froze), I'll try it on a better machine to see if it's optimized for better GPU.
If mod doesn't work, try copying the vpk one directory OUT of the workshop folder [in "addons" instead of "addons/workshop", where Steam installs it]. The addon does conflict with Infinite Ammo, FYI.
What can I say...dear L4D2 hacker, I wish you Gesundheit. You made me L4D2-happy.
