I honestly felt bad for Jason in the first 2 movies, as I knew kids with special needs, and am still dealing with my own delays too. However... When I found out there was more than 2 movies, I was less on the side of "Vengeful special needs kid goes on rampage after seeing mother murdered by who he considers to be ignorant threats she was avenging and protecting him from" and more on the side of "Now this is just overkill, I don't think you're helping yourself at this point, Jason, nonetheless whatever twisted moral lessons you and your mom wanted to make."
