I just can find only carbuerator v8-engine and transmission...

it would be nice to have an exhaust system as well such as mufflers and exhaust tips

love this mod so much its exaclty what i wanted and have yet to try it, also the engines seem a bit small, would it be possible to have versions that match stats and have much larger size, so you can make a nice cool car with a big single V8 in the middle, obviously asking alot just an idea.. love this mod thx for creating it

I still plan on making these run on a gasoline now that we can do that, but the Star Wars encounter mod has picked back up so I've been working on that. Once I get some survival bits in place for that I'll take a look at gas for this mod including a small gas tank.

Would it be possible to make a hydrogen engine that also requires either fresh air or other oxygen source? Just for that added realism.

Eventually yes. Once they update is actually released. I also have a brand new engine to include and am working on a cockpit

I haven't abandoned this mod. I'm working on some fun things to include. Not sure when I'll have them public. Will also make a sister mod that uses uranium instead of ice

Considering other popular reactor mods use a uranium/ice mix I'm glad this one uses something different.

It would be neat, in my mind, to have Hydrogen-burning versions of these engines. Or if there was a way to make gasoline or nitromethane...

To everyone else, I appreciate your patience with me. The ARMCO Star Wars encounter has taken a lot of my time and I apologize that I have not gotten with you about your suggestions. I have taken all of you suggestions in consideration and will be working on this in the coming weeks.

Had you actually asked me, I would have considered making the changes myself. I am giving you 48 hours to remove the reupload of my mod or I will be forced to file a DMCA. Looking at your workshop it looks like it is filled with """""fixes""""" of other peoples work. If you want a mod that does what you want then you will need to make your own models You don't know my life, you don't know what I am working on or what I'm going through. Again, remove my reupload of my mod or I WILL file a DMCA. My biggest issue is you NEVER asked for permission, then when I politely asked you to remove it you attacked me. I have screenshots taken of where you commented before you changed them.

3. See 1. I wanted them to run on ice because that's what I wanted them to run on. If you want a car engine that runs on uranium you could have asked, not went behind my back and reuploaded my mod without asking me first.
4. The ideas Buncie stated are good, but are beyond my abilities as they would need scripting. Did you ever think of that?. If you had gone through the comment history on this mod you would see I covered a lot of the same ideas/questions.
5. I do not republish things that are not of my own design because I have integrity, so there is no reason for me to include the vanilla seats in my mod. There are other mods out there that add small grid seats. I had plans for a car cabin, but again, I'm working on a far larger project.

1. The engines are meant to use ice by my design. I have reduced their power output so they are not supposed to put out as much power, to help offset this further I changed what they cost to build. If they are still providing power after the ice runs out that is a bug on your end as no one else has reported this.
2. When I made this mod I didn't know how to modify the sound files. I had actually planned on revisiting this mod in the near future. As it was not broken I was not in a large rush because if you actually visited my workshop you would see I'm working on a much, much larger project. I had already planned on adding sounds

Reasons why I continued the work on this mod:
1. Engines dont consume fuel and still run once you place some ice into it.
2. Can engines without sounds?...
3. Ice as fuel is not very good option, uranium would be better. (Engines are "OP" in cost/power)
4. @Bunchie has great ideas
5. @DarkBlueSeaDragon - Vanilla seat with smaller size than 3x3x3? Its a 5minute job ;)

would it be possiable to add a car seat for a cockpit?

(part 2 of my first comment) The battery can be used to "start the engine". If the engine is running idle, it'll waste fuel, but by turning it off youll save fuel. if the battery is dead, you have to charge it (jumpstart). And maybe when you start the engine, you have a button that represents the turning of a key, and sometimes it may take a few tries to start it (with engine sounds) All im sayin is that this mod looks amazing! However I'd love some more functionality and engine customization as far as performance goes, so this doesnt seem like an op power source. Keep up the good work!

It seems that all the other parts besides the engine itself is asthetic. I think you should make each part contribute to the engine itself. Make the intake "depressurize" setting to where its intaking air, and the engine wont function without it, like a real engine. perhaps the cheaper parts are easier to build, but decrease the efficiency of the engine. each engine could have different characteristics, loke the v8 has more power then the boxer, or the go kart engine is weaker. Also make the engines kinda like tiers, like go kart is cheapest and weakest then goes to the v8, which is most expensive, but strongest.

maybe some nice engine sounds? love the mod though!

Just downloaded. I cant find the boxer engine? Also i think it'd be nice to make a seperate tab for the parts. it gets a bit difficult to locate them when im using 100+ mods :P

I would like to have them run on ice the problem is that would require intensive scripting for that to function. It is not possible to make the reactors run off hydrogen without scripts and I have no knowledge of that. These are meant to be a cheap alternative to batteries and stock reactors.

Suggestion: don't run them on ice. Run them on hydrogen.
Because running on fuel is another form of battery.
Solar power/whatever expends energy to make hydrogen. Hydrogen is burned to return energy.

There is a reason IRL we can build a hydrogen, but not one that runs on ice.

Or an alternate version of the mod that does run on hydrogen.

New boxer is live! I didn't have a chance to redo the exhaust on the V8. I'll do that when I finish the stock V8

those are not supercharged 2 stroke diesel engines, that exhale their exhaust gas through slits in the lower cylinder sleve, or are they?

The exaust manifold is really sitting too low. It's not in the oil pan but its definitely attached to the block not the headers. Maybe it's a integrated manifold like my car has. XD
