At first, I was making making a map set in the sky, but didn't finished it.
Solving the puzzle (Intended) was slow at the start because it was hard to see what was portalable and I had no clue what the fields did but once I got it the solution came quick. The map looks great and it's nice to see all the work put into it.
The embers somtimes looked like little portal walls with the crash test symbol on it. They also looked like broken textures if I played the demo recording without loading up the map first.
Reminds me of the Myst series.
The switch near the start to turn music off does not work.
.
As well, most of the portable surfaces have a light indication near to it (the yellow lamp), only some of those lamps are used for asthetics.
Good luck
Thanks for the publicity too, glad you liked "the concept of god"

Have fun.
On Islands the portable surfaces were indeed a problem. On this map, what I did to improve it:
* All portable surfaces have the same structure (big white block).
* Textures are more whiter then on the previous map.
* There are some indications about the portable surfaces (like near every portable surface there is a light near by or it might stand out in few places).
It is indeed stressful to see a player miss something that is to me obvious, while to a player - it isn't. But then again, it all ends up to how players understanding and how he views things.
Thank you again everyone.
The main difficulty consists of finding the portalable surfaces, probably that it's a volontary orientation but it makes the progress/adventure quite tedious.
Well, I guess there's a lot of work in there and it's very beautiful, thumbs up.
