I found with the pork barrel mod that you can delete them w/out losing your cash.

Hello,

Is there a way to disable industry spawning on this map? I've heard the debug mode can delete them, but I don't know how to access it.... otherwise, is there any chance of a no industry version of this?

Still cant get El Paso, That park, some cities in UK also dont appear. Also one north Asia city.:steambored:

Oh! Maybe try TwinRivers as the seed. I'll have mentioned it at some point early in the series.

You had three cities in good line, but i can get only two. Cant get same setup, no placement like santa ana, that somepark.:steamsad:

The town names won't be the same (as I edited them) but the placement should be. I forget the exact seed, but if the one below doesn't work it'll be ColonelFailure.

Really enjoyed your Metroplis seriies Colonel - so just ha to download this map. I played it (with pork barrells) and it truely is a superb map to play - had a lot fun!

Thanks PP, set terrain level to 30, 1000 for rivers to have nice scenic edges. But very expensive bridges :)

Works fine with New Industry as I use this mod, and haven't had a problem at all. Also used European settings for the map too. I prefer my maps "Green" rather that look like the Midwest "Cowboy Country" settings from the game.

@Aantono Neither towns nor industries are pre-placed, they'll work as normal with map seeding. I see no reason it won't work with New Industry but I haven't tested it.

Just as an FYI - you can run with this using either EU or US terrain style according to your own preference. At least you could last time I tried it...

Another map in my naturalistic scenery series (the TF scenery engine is gorgeous) is the 'European Scenic' map nearby in the Workshop. Thanks Colonel, and we're really enjoying your Metropolis series. But pork barrels good grief sir one senses hints of Alabaman practices :)
