I have HF2!

Half-Life 2 has a slight damage upgrade mod, that's probably what you want. Go check it out!

This cannot be conventionally ported to HL2 because it doesn't have Gmod's scripting interface.

Could you or somebody else port this to the half life 2 workshop?

does these buffs affect npcs too? like for example now that the smg is buffed will npcs using the smg also have the buff?

does this include the Crowbar and Stunstick? Facepunch nerfed them for some reason...

It does! I think the only vanilla weapons this doesn't affect are the Alyx gun and the revolver (it does enough damage).

Compare with hl2buff_amnt set to 1 and set to the default 3. The player is pretty tanky in vanilla.

I feel like the NPCs that use the Half Iife 2 weapons dmgs dont change that much, cause the shotgun I use with this mod, makes me one shot any combine, but they don't do it back, in fact it takes like 3-5 shots to take me down without armor

You're confusing this with a different mod.

i swear this mod had sandbox options once to change the damage of each weapon

Those NPCs have inherent damage resistance in vanilla, which this mod doesn't bypass.

Oh! it works on the combines so i think works now. But just not on all npc's like father grigori, gman, Judith Mossman, Barney Calhoun and Alyx Vance. They seem to be taking the same damage.

I disabled all my addons and tried again but it didn't work. I think it is just that i was trying everything with the father grigori npc because he was the first to come up in the npc tab and maybe he just has way more health. But it also seems strange that it takes the same amount of times shooting the shotgun, shooting the pistol any other gun in the game to kill the npc. Maybe you have an answer for that. Thanks!

See if you have any other addons that adjust damage values.

why doesnt it work for me. i shoot the npc with the shotgun and still have to shoot them like 4 times before they die. i tried multiplying the damage with the command but that still didnt work. does garrys mod have a damage limit now? oh and also why do some npc's like Dr. Judith Mossman have 8 health and every weapon only deals 1 damage to her?

It does affect NPC weapons. You'll be taking as much extra damage as you deal.

Is there any mod that buffs Half Life: Source shotgun? Because in original HL shotgun takes sout Grunts in 2-4 normal shots. And in Gmod it's... Really crappy.

i love the 3 times damage, but now the antlions and antlion guards cant fight back against groups of npcs with guns, if anyone know a mod that can bump up the health of antlions or buff them, i would like to know
