Have been using this for many, many years and honestly I totally forgot I had it. Then I saw WH2 at a friends place and boy, I did not look good to me at all. With that said, do you have any plans for a filter for WH3? While WH3 looks far better than WH2 Vanilla, I am quite curious to see what you can do with it.

But recently got a new PC, and redid reshade and all and it looks completely different from my old PC :/ any ideas?

The only issue i have had with this is was far too dark for me with Gamma and Brightness set as suggested, however with a minimum of tweaking and testing i can say this is one of the best Reshade's out there, just grim enough for proper cinematic carnage. I'm running a Ryzen 5 5600x and a 3070 on my new rig and this rocks at 1440p! Word of caution though is the anti-aliasing set anything above 4x will cripple your FPS, I've left mine at FXAA and get 90+ FPS no worries.

does it need to be in 1080 for best results or is it the same with 1440 or higher? Thank you.

This may be a little late, but you press the Home button to open the reshade menu, not Shift-F2

I press (Shift + F2) in-game and get nothing. No pop-up menu, no FX, nothing.

How do I uninstall this mod manually/

"Only for screen shots". Only if you dont know how to tune a Reshade preset.

Hey, it isn't just your preset, but activating "Filmic Pass" makes Warhammer look RIDICULOUS on my PC. Everything turns a weird blue tint, like a poorly colored cartoon. Does this happen to anybody else?

Shiet. Spend like 3 hours just now trying to figure out what the hell is wrong with the mountains in the southern desert area, thought it was a wrong setting on my part. Then i saw your last 2 screenshots and can see yours are the same low res on mountains in desert. Wonder why they specifically needs to be low res compared to the rest of the ground textures. :/ Started a Khalida campaign and seeing these fugly low res blocks blocks stick up makes my eyes bleed. In 2018 on ultra settings. Love wh1 and 2 but ME needs to be looked at.

You either didn't follow the instructions precisely, or if you did, just google the errors.

Did you know what the problem ?

It's more of a hub for quality reshades, like the 300-style "Cinematic Extreme" preset I am currently testing. Give me more ideas! Films with distinct styles for referance! The 300 one looks incredibly a lot like the film, especially in Rome II.

if your referring to effects not loading or being found, thats due to a texture path issue.

I used the search tool and it didn't appear, then a dug through my Warhammer 2 folder and didn't find it.

@god-emperor :( you ran the game and still couldnt find the dxgi file? The game can't run without it.

I can't get this work and I can't find the DX files thay you mention in step 4. I reinstalled my game and checked the game cache and I can't find them anywhere.

I have done everything as stated above but I get an "error compiling some shaders" red text. Any idea?

@Elric take a look at the image by itself. Comparing the two yield different color schemes, I just made them the way I like them. I will make a 300 style reshade sometime as well.

@Captain see installation step 6 to make a toggle, or delete all reshade files (just install reshade to an empty folder to see what files you need to delete, or google.

Cheers all. Some answers to some questions: It will work with every forseeable future reshade release. All other questions/problems can be solved by reading the entire description. eg: I tell you exactly how to change every effect that you might want to change/remove, the step by step installation instructions are flawless, just make sure you follow EVERY word in there (like click through the tutorial before selecting blockbuster etc). There is no way for it not to work if you follow the instructions precisely.

Love your setup, however beastmen can appear almost too orange or orangey-red sometimes. It hasn't bothered me since they still look bad ass.

Ok i got it working, but how do you get rid of the screen glare on edges?

It's not working for me. Reshade is working in Warhmmer 2 (open with Shift+F2) then i pick the shader listed above in drop down menu and nothing happens. It's like reshade does not activate it. Need some help

It is ssao CA has screwd the poch on this one it also throws shity shading around all objects more noticble in sand and snow

couldnt find the ini file and i guess thats why im stuck. The other file I found and once I renamed that I was able to open reshade in the game

The Swede how did you get into the settings? I can't even seem to get to that stage!

Ive managed to get into the reshade settings etc and choose the Blockbuster from the drop down. Change to performance. Dont see any difference and in that red block there is nothing. Please help.
