US gets helis the North can't respond to because you put the DShKs in stupid places that can't be secured. The frontline is far, far too broad which suits the US much more than the VC because they can set up flanks with M60s easily and the VC have nothing comparable and spread themselves too thin trying to defend against it. And when they do that, the point gets captured and there's no opportunity to capture it back. As the North, you either cluster on the point and get fucked by enemies coming at you from all angles, some of them with M60s, or you spread out and lose the point because the US can dump loads of troops onto the point at once.
I don't understand how this is remotely controversial. The map absolutely blows. Nobody should use it in its current state.
Jk, this map was ambitious but it's just no good when it's used in public servers.

* Different from lots of other maps
* Extensive use of helicopters
* Teamwork
CONS
* Many points can get bogged down and difficult to push
* The first point can be a nightmare to both teams

Maybe if there was a voting system to end the match early, or maybe the Americans could vote and lost 100 tickets just to be able to take A without the boredom and frustration of landing over and over and failing.

They say it's bad because they hop in a helo with a shitty pilot and get killed because the pilot auto hovers a few hundred meters from the beach exposing it to RPGs, DSHKs, and other small arms fire.
if the game had something like landing craft or an APC like the M113 with water crossing ability however.... well, suddenly the map starts to look alot more attractive. Outside of the beach though, it's not nearly as bad albiet a little bit small.
