id recommand you to not to draw any borderlines. There are a lot of disputed areas in the world. e.g. You scooped out the entire Kashmir territory of China. The area is so big that it can be easily spotted from the thumbnail.

Mercator projection sucks though, I'd rather not have my Greenland the size of Africa. Otherwise it's a cool concept

You can use a custom map theme to paint snow. also, your deserts are kinda in the wrong places.
