by the way slurtle slime is already a non perishable lantern fuel, but is good to have options...

Are there few light bulbs in the cave in which you live?
If that is right, you should not do the craft of "Light Bulb Essence".

In my experience, many Light Bulbs have grown into the cave. However, since a Light Bulb is perishable, I cannot utilize those all effectively. In many cases, the factor which blocks quick conquest of a cave(or ruins) is perishable of a Light Bulb than it's scarcity. As first concept, I wanted to preserve a bulb for a long time.

On the other hand, I do not want too convenient mod. The Light Bulb not rotting is too convenient. As a countervalue, in the craft of "Light Bulb Essence", I adopted waste of a bulb.

Actually, since 1 essence needs 4 lightbulbs and 40 lightbulbs fuel a lantern for 8 days and 40 essences fuel a lantern for 20 days, you are actually wasting lightbulb fuel by preserving it, so its better to just preserve if you really need to. 40 light bulbs= 8 days x 4 = 32 days, that means you are wasting 12 days of fuel in exchange for no perishment. Although i feel like light bulb essence should cost 8 light bulbs, since no perishment is AMAZING.

Now, original crock pot does not accept a Light Bulb? Therefore, crock pot must be modified in order to make my Essence. On the other hand, there are many convenient mods which modified crock pot. When my mod modifies crock pot, it will conflict with other mods. For the reason, I do not want to modify crock pot.

Hey author, the complains with the confuising description was fixed, still experimenting with how balanced it is , perhaps a more complex crafting recipe, like using the crockpot instead of just crafting it..., like you said is a food item...

Nice idea, it's pretty neat and i personally like the art for the bottle. I think that you should have more drawbacks when you eat the extract, like it happens with glow berries.

Glowing Essence extracted from Light Bulbs that can be used to fuel the Lantern and Miner Hat. You can turn perishable Light Bulbs into a "Light Bulb Essence" that will last forever.

One Light Bulb Essence restores 50% of a Lantern's fuel. That is, a full stack of 40 Essences can fuel your lantern for 20 days, compared to a stack of 40 Light Bulbs which only fuels for 8 days.

You can also drink it to shine for 128 seconds. When consumed, it will cause you to lose 2 health.

Recipe: 4x Light Bulbs, under the ____ tab using an Alchemy Engine.
