While i mght have a feeling you moved on from updating this addon (or gmod as a whole, i am unsure), it would have been nice to see a toggle for this mod which made it to where all Health & Battery Pickups were swapped with the sweps.

Actually, its not an eating animations.
For healthvial, player opens it and use healing substance to cover wounds, and for HEV battery player plug it in chest, and charges his suit.

Well, actually, all of your ideas are pretty cool, I really appreciate that you have spend your time on writing your opinion about this swep, but, shame on me, my LUA skill is not that good to realize your ideas. But as soon as I found out how to do this, I'll update this swep.

Also maybe a rechargeable version of each item-- recharging when the player makes contact with the entity counterpart (from Half-Life 2 entities; default) when they cannot use it. For example, if a player were to use a rechargeable medkit, it would stay in their inventory, but it would have no charge. Later, when they come across a medkit (entity) while they have full health (or maybe enough health that the medkit would be more than enough to heal them), they can pick it up to fully recharge the medkit they have in their inventory, effectively allowing players to save medkits for later.

Would it be possible to disallow trying to pick up multiple of one item? In the context of accidentally deleting batteries because I interacted with them while I have one in my inventory. It shouldn't be that easy to just make them disappear-- for no reason, too. If I didn't have a mod that makes players pick up only weapons they interact with, I would have to avoid an open supply of these items (let's say... hmmm... a table) in order to not make them disappear. So, I propose this idea: left click should be to throw the item. Upon throwing the item, an entity version is spawned-- an entity that will give the appropriate item and disappear when interacted with, and will not do so when the player has one of the same item in their inventory.

Would there be a way to make another swep exactly like these ones but when you take it, it doesn't get removed from your inventory? thanks

u should try somthing i have thought of and because i know nothing i thought u could try. anyway, what if npcs could get into vehicles like combines can get into tanks and allies could get into the back seat of cars. idk
