@packrat1984 - This was made with permission from the developer during their Kickstarter campaign as a way of giving backers a way of testing the game without access to a full print and play. So while it's outdated, and will remain so, it is approved by the team behind the game.

Hi there. Donning the purple will come back to kickstarter in september for a reprint and an expansion. The reprint will be 100% the same as the original game. The expansion will include lots of cool!

The updated game here on TTS has some of the unlocked stretch goals from the original campaign. Some of the advanced stuff is not in the simulator.

@Paulyd83 - I don't have the full insight, myself. I think it's less of a 2nd edition and more of a modified reprint? You would assume that they would want a new batch of the base game produced for anybody who wants to grab the expansion but doesn't have the base yet.

As for this mod, it's complete to the best of my knowledge. With this whole KS not being a thing yet, anything could change prior to production. I'm sure the designer will let me know if anything needs to be changed though.

Also, I don't think they're coming out with a 2nd edition of the game so soon? From what I saw on their website, they're launching a Kickstarter campaign later this year for an expansion.

Wow, interesting news! That's something I need to pick up when they kickstart it. So is this version totally complete?

@Paulyd83 - Whoops, I forgot to update the changelog. Thanks for the heads up. At the request of the designer I have updated the game contents to be more in-line with the 2nd edition of the game which I believe they're gearing up a Kickstarter campaign for. The card decks, main board, player boards and game pieces have been updated.

@Arteus I see that the game was updated on April 4, just a few weeks ago. Do you know what exactly was updated?

@aziwa - Thanks for noticing the legion misplacement. I've pushed an update to sort that out and removed many of the tokens from grid snap mode. I hope that makes things run a bit smoother for you.

@Arteus Thank you for creating this mod. Also there are 2 legions set up in Roma when they should be in Thracia and the tokens (senate/famine/buildings) have "grid snap" enabled which I found hindering and would disable by default. I will play this solo later and give more feedback if I have some.

@lagrange.c - I double checked with the game's designer and yes, you can play the game solo if you remove all of the cards mentioned in the rulebook manually. I've updated the description and player count to show that solo play is possible in the mod.

Does "no solo mode" mean that it is totally impossible to get a try solo ? Or do you just mean that is is not scripted, so that I would have to remove the 6 cards by myself (for exemple) ?
