Texture changes... Almost never... Need updates. Just because it shows up as orange in the mod manager, doesn't mean an update is required.

Well, there is the Beutiful Khalida mod that did retextured the face and made her look human again, soo it seems possible to rexture that mask-less part.

And i was thinking make her face look more skeletal than rotten flesh. The contrast between them (especially color wise) is HUGE.

Also, most pic (both art and models) seem to show her face (and hands) being more of a white skeleton.

@Rachel L Nope, you can't alter models in a mod, just the texture. Half the mask is missing in her model, and I can't retexture what isn't there.

Can the rest of her face be retextuered to look like the rest of the ceramic mask?

@posthum Yes, it's just a texture so it should never break with updates. I tried "updating" it for the new DLC so that it didn't show as out of date, but it just deleted the description instead. Oh well

Pity Mono. I'd like the Bretonnians and the Tomb Kings to have at least a form of Araby mercs. Though with the former is harder since Bretons never hire mercs. TKs do however and don't backstab them like Vampires do.

Lastly, it should be noted GW, despite loosely basing the warhammer world on our own continental shapes - refrained from putting any human societies further south than their versions of egyptians/north africans - almost like their is no culture you could conceivably replicate from our world into Warhammer FB's that would be a believable threat. @Carcargaybar Actual fun fact ; Mediteraneans on both sides of the sea are caucasians. There are only 4 human groupings of genetics and everything else is a sub grouping with the pre existing 4. Egyptians in the past and today are caucasian just like persians and vandals and phoenicians. We can measure this with genetic markers making up our DNA. For example Bantu Africans are 3% closer to bonobos than caucasians or asiatics. The latter having neaderthal with asiatics having the higher percent. It's a pretty cool mask, although maybe the shade/color such as the black around her eyes (to cover the inset jewelry in the defualt mask) and the red lip stick is a bit much. It kind of looks like a Carnival of Venice mask.

Although perhaps it's easier to see on the battlefield.

I hope you realize that there's no such thing as caucasians in Warhammer, even if there are white skinned people. Also, Egyptians were caucasian during the Ptolemy dynasty, which was after Alexander the Great, so they weren't caucasian for their entire history. Even if they had been white for their entire history (they weren't, they were more tan skinned) GW didn't base Nehekharan's race off of historical egypt, just the culture and aesthetic, with a ton of mummy tropes thrown in. Lol

Their civilization was based off of aincient Egyptian civilization who were caucassian, (dont take my word for it take theirs: https://www.khanacademy.org/humanities/ancient-art-civilizations/egypt-art/beginners-guide-egypt/a/egyptian-art notice the skin tone), The only black/extremely tanned egyptians were usualy Nubian slaves and Nubian mercenaries who settled in Egypt. so with this in mind the Nehekharans would also have been med/caucasian not african peoples. Hence all vampires were caucasian.

I own every 6th and 7th edition army book. I own both the 6th and 8th edition Khemrian army book. I do not "want" correct lore. What I do not like is false lore.

I am simply saying that there is nothing in lore saying there isn't vampires from Araby or elsewhere. I am not arguing that this game should be afrocentric. However, lorewise the origins of Vampires are the Lhamian dynasty of Neferata from Nehekhara. While some houses like the Von Carsteins are clearly caucasian, and since Bretonnia and the Empire, being the major human factions, are caucasian, of course most tabletop and in game vampires will be caucasian.

The origins of the vampires however, isn't caucasian. That is my entire point. Mono put forward all vampires are caucasians, which simply isn't true.

This wasn't about wanting something afrosentric, it was about putting the lore straight and pointing out a falsehood.
