Suggestion: instead of gratings, put square-shaped holes near the walls so that cubes can pass through but players can't. It would be kind of a hint, but cubes being able to pass through solid metal really feels like a bug

I don't knwo if what I did was correct - in short, I funneled player #1 to the exit area. player #2 places the cube on the edge of the "reverse" button. player #2 enters the reverse funnel. player #1 lifts the cube off the button with the funnel - without dropping it into the goo - and then funnels the other player to the upper area. player #2 places a portal on the upper area, and another on the button platform, and retrieves the box. player #1 and #2 place portals that face each other so player #2 gets a copy of the funnel. player #2 funnels the box up to the button, and jumps down .
