One question.
What is the name to limit them on my DS? "ExtendedPistonBase" I tried..
I have sent you a friend request because I would like to ask you a few questions regarding modding. Thanks in advance for your time.
Agreed. Definitely, that would be wicked!!!
Sarcastic. "Wicked" is 14 years out of date, but you get the jist.
(btw this is the internet so I feel the need to express that i'm not trying to be cocky or an ass, im genuenly interested if u find a way)
also quote from the description:
"Please don't request longer pistons, I think even the 1x1x3 one is pushing it."
but just to clarify the main reason: Piston collision width is fixed, and i dont want to add extremely long but only 1 block wide pistons

I don't know what more can I do for you.
Oh and about the 5 block long piston, as I mentioned in the descriptions, I think the extended 3 block long piston is almost ridiculous. But I may add them, I set up the models so it isn't very hard to change the length.
______
\--------/
.|-------|
.|-------|
/--------\
its collision mesh would look like this:
.____
..\---/
...|--|
...|--|
../---\
So other blocks and the player model could fly through parts of the piston, or even be inside the model. I don't want to make such a faulty mod.
I'm think there may be a clever workaround to make wide pistons happen, but I know almost nothing about the mod API of SE, so I doubt I would find it. I asked around in the KSH dircord, and people there said that its hardcoded and that it cant be changed. :/
Also, nice job on the micro merge block and the compact tools!
