there is a hydrogen gas consuming power generator in vanilla now, maybe a modder can help ya now.

yeah did try something like that by borrow some code from a hydrogen thruster to consum gas not sure if throttle would be possible but if I managed to do that to that would be awesome. I am trying to find a way to make the gas consum and generate power. But I would probaly try to see if I can make it throttle able it sounds like a neat feature :)

+Igueus Tempus maybe make the reactor a "thruster" with 0 thrust, and try to force it to also produce power as it "thrusts"? that way players can also have a sort of "throttleable reactor" so they have control over how much gas is used, and how much power is used at the same time

I did try to make it consum hydrogen gas for power but that doesent seem to work and I have met any modder yet who know how to do it. I asked the discord group and not getting any who even know something like that most people uses another ingot instead of gas

Honestly We are trying to see if we can make it use Gas instead of Item but because Im Abit new with coding and the old creator didnt managed to do that either. I have however heard from other modders I have contacted that it is possible :) atm we are trying to make it consum more of this ingot as it is getting consumed slower than uranium :/
