Otherwise thank you for the kind words! It means quite a lot!
Second, I am the creator of polar surprise, and the problem with it not fitting certain weapon is because of the way valve implements textures. When I first tested the texture I was replacing dream piped, and it did work well, but when i saw it ingame, the sizing was way larger on some weapons while way smaller on some others. Same happened with cosmic calamity, this one being mostly smaller than my tests. So I believe the way the weapon appears ingame isn't something you can control since it's valve who implements it in the end. But it is true that generally the rotation and scale of the textures are randomly generated on each (same) weapon.
Once again, love the war paint! And also love your art <3
As far as I know the pictures themselves won't change size on the [same] weapon, though - the position of the image changes and so which way the drawing is facing is what's constantly changed. On some weapons, this might not be the case - I've been testing with the Civil Servant Mk.II paint.
The next best thing to do if you can't get a drawing-pattern to work the way you want it, is look into applying it onto the weapon as a "sticker" instead.
As far as this paint goes, it patterns nicely on most weapons, but very small weapons like the revolver or pistol will struggle.
Thank you for the comment, Knusperfrosch!
It looks good on the Black Box. But is there a way to avoid the problem that war paints like Dovetailed and Polar Surprise have, where the individual figures are often drawn so large on some weapons (most notably the Rocket Launcher) that they don't properly fit and you only get a bit of wing and not even a single entire figure let another several?
I've been told that on war paints with repeating patterns of little pictures, the actual size of the pictures is randomly determined for each war paint item, so that there is more variation, which fits with what I have seen. But certain weapon models also seem to have a predetermine size... for example on Amputator and Black Box you always get at least a handful on figures even at the largest size, while on Rocket Launcher and MediGun they will always be much larger even if the exact same war paint would generate smaller pictures on an Amputator in the preview.
