Yes. It patches a single value in a single file. Turning it on or off mid-game shouldn't cause any issues unless another mod is changing the same value.

This mod doesn't give any errors by itself which means another mod you have is incompatible or at the very least interferring.
Usually the best solution is to move this mod higher up the mod load order list, preferably as close to Core as possible.

Still throws a red error at startup for me, even though looks fine in mod list.

It still works. Just because a mod is red, doesn't mean it doesn't work. I updated it anyway though.

It could be a load order problem. Try putting this mod nearer the top of the list.

Ok, it was broken with the patch. Luckily it was just a quick-fix. Updated for 0.19. Any problems, let me know.

It's really random and they're definitely not guaranteed. In my experience it's been 50/50 whether they have them or not, but RNG is RNG.

How rare are the cores from traders? I've had 3 exotic good trade ships and none of them had any and I've had about 3 exotic goods trade carvans that also have not had any.

Yeah I have basically been ready to leave the planet for months but have been locked in place because the game will not spawn an AI Core, this was a terrible change in beta 18. Nice to see it corrected.
