I FIXED IT... going through the files I found the file called Modules is whats causing it, finding the map to work even without this folder as it pertains to the other assets that never got delivered from the original author, you just have delete that Forrest

I'm sorry, just uploaded here before armaholic went down...I think if someone want to fix it he can do it...by the way I am using global ops terrain..it is really good for snow missions

just to let people know but i dont think this map works anymore, recently tried and comes up with an error on start up and crashes

You should update this with some roads and shacks and turn this into a Korean War map.

I get a weird seem line in the sky, especially at morning and evening

If anybody's wondering what this map is, it's basically a really big but completely empty terrain template for a snowy mountain range.

Could be a really fun map if someone updated it with roads, buildings, foliage, etc...
Also because of it's size, it'd probably be fun for an air-to-air only, Ace Combat-style mission.

By the way, it's really nice terrain for small scale arctic or high mountains warfare.

I think i found the problem. You need to run as dependency the mod "CUP Terrain Core" to use this map.

just for info, originally to load this map you needed two mods: @Aoraki and @Alpine. The file you subscribed here are the fusion of this 2 mods (that was made for arma 2 by Rocket). Check if your files are corrupted.

@intrusor when i load the mod file in the command line of the server and then try to run the server it just wont start. I do have the log of the server but it doesnt mention this mod. We tried to load mod by mod to check which one was giving the error and it ended up being this one

I just tryed to load a server with this map and and it work for me. What kind of error it shows? Can you describe the problem?

I'm trying to load this map on a server but is giving me some problem, we tried more than once even by loading in from the server side modlist but is not working

Great! Thx! The map is orginally from the very Dean Hall! Years ago I have created "Operation Ridge Sweep" for that with: Avalanches, Crevasses, climbing sections (see video below)! If its still working without much work to do, I might upload it. Sadly, there was never real demand for Arma+Mountaineering, but its tricky to implement on a short time budget and with moderate modding skills.
