Still works great in 2023 (till the next update anyway). They only have “hmm?” dialogue but are visually excellent and have good navmeshing. Thx, upvoted.

Great to see more NPCs in Skyrim especially in a role which is obviously missing, I wish that they didn't say "need something?" quite so much. They've got some nice thieving gear on them too! I'd also recommend The 9 Traveling bards of Skyrim for more non-merchant non-adventurer characters.

Bah I was hoping for a mod to allow MY character to dance like Cicero and maybe even get entertained responses from people so that I can immerse myself into being a Jester more I can already play instruments and sing songs.

You should make a traveling Jester that travels the Wilderness (Similar to Talsgar the Wanderer), and stops at random Town Inns to entertain for the night, then heads off.

Pretty awesome mod and I really loved the refrence to the Ulima games, however he was in the blue palace not the Palace of the kings.

dominic: I've tried that for another mod. It doesn't work for me - my F4 key is set to adjust screen brightness, so pressing CTRL+F4 just dims my screen.

Good idea, will definitely look nito it. And if you want to make the gray faces disappear, select the actors and CTRL+F4... Cheers!

I subbed to this mod a few months ago, and have loved it since! Just thought I'd let you know that this mod is still being used and loved! ;)

Also, they only play instruments because there weren't any other animations I could see a jester doing.

Skyrim already has entertainers/musicians, they're called bards. Besides, the farmer who refused to help Cicero fix his wheel said there hasn't been a jester in Skyrim in a hundred years. So, this goes against the game's lore.

@ scanner1: I wanted to do that, but unfortunately, that seems to be a scripted thing, not an idle marker. Or at least, if it is an idle marker, I couldn't find it.

@k9mouse: I couldn't get them to do that, but they do talk about the Bard's College if you ask them.

A simple mod, but I like it.

An obvious note, just in case some don't notice: If you download anything that alters the Dark Brotherhood's jester duds, the outfits these NPCs wear will be changed as well. I know there are a few mods out there that do that.
