Great map, but i can't select a game mode :(

Well, I can't enter the rooms plus I don't see the awesome ladder that used to be in the CSS version. Also, if you would make the CS_ version, too that'd be awesome.

Also, when I am about to choose which map I want to play (in the game menu), I click on this map but no modes are shown there so I have to run it via console. :(

That's cool, which features do you think are missing? If you're talking physics props, it's that they got in the way a lot. But for other game-types like Garry's Mod I can see they'd be fun.

It doesn't have as many features as the original CSS version. That's why I unsubscribed from it.

Kevin: No, I played the map in competetive mode. I didn't know that this was an armsrace map. Is it possible to add buyzones for the classic and competetive modes?

I just tested the map and it still work for me, strange. Are you sure you are running the map with "game_type 1" and that is correct there are no buyzones. You don't need them for Arms Race.

Fun map but since I updated CS it doesn't work anymore.

You can play with bots just fine Kipo, when you've started Global Offensive open the console (~ tilde key by default) and type in "game_type 1" then "map ar_fawlty_towers" and it should start the map, in the proper arms race mode too. Once started you have more commands you can type into the console for such things as adding or removing bots, I think they all start with "bot_" Hope this helps!

For bgjosh and others who don't know how to start the map, you need to select Arms Race at the top before launching.

Just want to say, terrific map! One of the best map mods I have played on any game. Great attention to detail too, down to the rat poison and Harold Robbins book. If you are looking to improve it, a moose's head on the main desk would be the icing on the cake :)

For anybody reading this, I am looking for a character modeler who would be willing to share his skill, know-how and a bit of his time to contribute to this map. What I'd have in mind is to have custom player models of at least Basil, Sybil and Manuel. If time permits, of course, additional characters beyond them would be awesome too!

Yeah it's a little weird, I think you just have to "Thumbs up" or "Thumbs down" and as soon as there are enough the tally will get converted to the 5 star rating.

Don't forget to give your rating using the star system folks, if we want to get the word out that, yes there's a Fawlty Towers map for Counter-Strike and, no that it's not a joke!

I can't start this for some reason - I get 'select gameplay mode' and then there are no options.
