Is there a way to edit what the bag carries?

FSGm_itemcore blank item appearing at the top of the list, any idea what it is?

I would enjoy to have that bag to be used as a real one and be transported into bacpacks or alone with medical supplies too.

I already did that. KAT, is willing to add something similar to that on their mod, not sure what they will do, but the were interested on something similar.

Either way, seeing that for you all is that important, I may try to get this week some time, and make a patch for it.

@By-Jokese... dude, if you are not longer active on A3 could you let someone alse to continue with your mod and give it some updates of fix?

Probably some Arma or ACE update broke it. To be honest, after nearly 10 years in Arma, I'm no longer active. Maybe I could try to install arma and devtools again to check it out, but not sure when I will have the time to check it.

Maybe is tomorrow or maybe next month, I wont give any estimates.

Including the absolute bare minimum mod dependencies and explicitly checked to be the newest from the RPT ? Which is this+ACE3+CBA3.

@Fuzzle my ACE Med Conf is by default, just doctors can use surgical kit, when i use this med BP is like im dont have any medical skill

@BioTerror.NIC adjust your ACE medical settings. You'll need to make sure that your medics have the correct "expertise" level and that you can use surgical kits at medical facilities.

i place the medic back on the floor but it doesnt let me use the surgiral kit... any help?

well im talking about when you load it up into a back pack right you can drop it and it has inventory to it
im wondering if that can have stuff in it when you load it up into a backpack from the arsenal before it gets deployed or anything and once its deployed it has the things in it

@1Kachy I just tried by using an ACE medic and a Server setting that allows using a surgical kit only if near a medical facility, which this bag is. Works perfectly fine.

Is this working still after yesterdays ace update?

@By-Jokese love this mod, really incentivizes setting up a casualty collection point for medics/combat surgeons. Is there any chance of you doing a similar mod for engineers? I like the way ACE handles repairing vehicles in the field but needing to get out a box of tools would be kind of neat.

I just want to get rid of the Ace backpack inventory system. I want normal access to the backpack items at all times.

Agree hate to have the update with an inventory for our release missions ;)

I don't ensure nothing as I have many projects with more priority, but will check as soon as I have some time to update it. And as requested many time to add an inventory to it.

Please read the notes, It's been said multiple times. The bag does not have an inventory, it only provides a medical area, to treat the patient.

Would I be allowed to reupload this mod into a mod for our unit? We are trying to reduce the number of "Helper mods" So our modpack isn't so beefy looking.

Any player can place it, but I believe it has a problem yet with a Arma 3 function that stopped working after an update. I'm no longer working on it, but i find some time I may try to fix it.

Could we get a variant or alt mod that is stripped of all advanced medical equipment with only like splints, basic bandages, a few epi morphine and adenosine injectors, a few tourniquets, and a few 250ml saline bags?

Yeah, but allowing kits and PAK removes the sense of the bag, at least the way we use it. Will play with it a bit, to see alternatives or other ways to do it.

I figured it out, canAddItemToBackpack is bugged. If the item will fit into a backpack when picking up via inventory and leave little to no space, it'll return false. You need some extra for it to return true. One solution is to drop heavy things, then pick up the medic bag, then pick up the heavy thing, another solution is to allow using surgical kits & PAK everywhere as I did. Another possibility is to obtain by trail and error minimum space that will return true for canAddItemToBackpack for the medbag, and create a dummy item with lower weight only used for checking. I'll probably make a bug report on the BI's feedback tracker.

Picking up the bag is bugged, it says "Medic Bag won't fit inside backpack, clear space". However, when deploying it, I had it in my backpack, and it will fit. The only way to pick it up is to clear some space in the backpack AND vest AND uniform. Not sure how you calculate it, consider checking.

Thanks Jokese. Medic bag now shows up in the arsenal and ACE arsenal. Unfortunately, now a blank item named, "FSGm_ItemCore", shows-up at the top of the arsenal or ACE arsenal menu. The item can be dropped and it looks like a vanilla ammo pouch, but does not act as a Medic Bag.

Did not change the config, should not had happened that. Now is fixed.
