Yup, I'm with you on all of that, especially the color part...So many of the color schemes either make parts too dark or just plain ugly. I get tired of having to stick to just the white, or Terran colors to avoid UGLY!!

Yes, I agree Gary. Would like to see some tinted parts. Square, rounded, trapezoid, triangle and a curved ones. More Bio parts and parts with soft rounded edges that are Matt and not so damned glossy. Terran are about the only ones in matt. They colour sets should be what adds the gloss, not the Race parts (with the ability to make our own colour sets)..lol I can only wish..

I think all of the truly good designers here use a bit of artistic license. After all, many off us have to use the parts that we must make do with. You can only stretch and shape and fold them just so much, but still place them where you need them. I myself would like to have a few transparent, or opaque(?sp?) parts to work with. Instead, I have to construct the 'suggestion' of a dome, for instance, and hope the viewer sees what I see.

Thanks mac, although I am not trying to be perfect and use a bit of artistic flair in my designs and go as far as to throw the book out and design some things from scratch, such as the Io strike cruiser. Also, the flight deck was a massive pain in the A** to build and was glad when I finished it...its close enough..lol

Omni. superb design as always. Just one *SMALL* suggestion.... The mercury Class has top and bottom launch pads unlike the Galactica... If you add the two bottom launch platforms onto your ship it will make this a perfect Mercury Class.

Sorry, no. I will be making more large and a couple of huge class Battlestars. I have made Star Blazers Yamato and there are a few Exo type ships that may fall under what you are looking for. They are in the Complete Omnibus Collection, link is above.

Could you do a battlestar of this quality in huge proportions? Like a combo of a yamato and a nimitz, but for space and as a battlestar?
