everytime i wanted to do the spawnpos it wont work

It causes all map's default spawnpoints to change even if you hadn't use it on that maps. I guess it changes the defaults to x:0 y:0 z:0 by default when you activate the mod.

can I set two or more spawnpoints? It can be completely random between the locations.

a toolgun that sets the spawnpoint? it would be kind of redundent and then there wouldnt really be a point in this mod as in being "a lightweight simple command"

can you add a spawn button on the tool gun, beacuse i forget a very much lot of the time

there is no command to set multiple spawns. this adds just a simple command that kinda shouldve been in gmod/source at the start: it modifies the worlds spawn point

i want set 2 spawns to play with my friends, team vs team, and original spawn is not comfortable, so i want to set their spawn and my spawn. and i can only set 1 spawn with sv_spawnpos, for 2nd spawn command i dont know

with this you cant set 2 spawns. that would be a bit more "specific" towards what you want. like who you want to spawn at each spawn which would probably require some team or group system and i would probably hook with ulx or something because its popular and then that defeats the whole purpose of "only 1000bytes" or a simple spawn.

or do you mean like set 2 spawns then randomize whenever someone spawns so people spawn at different locations randomly?

what do you mean randomizes? the old spawn is no longer "used" as it hooks to "OnPlayerSpawn" (or some hook like that) and just teleports the player to the new spawn...

i love it but only problem is it radmoizes the original spawn would you pls fix that

Mate, are we able to do more than one spawn? It only lets me do one and I kept getting murdered by the same npc that was spawned in by my friend.

there is no default set spawn command... /setspawn is a darkrp specific command.. the point of this is a simple method to set the serverwide spawn (which should be a default cmd)

wait what about the default set spawn cmd? i just use /setspawn Police etc or for extra spawns per job /addspawn Police . Whats this add other than being another add on for a default cmd you already have?

The spawn position is now written to a file and is loaded every startup. Originally the spawn position was somehow being saved without writing files but i had no clue why or how so i just said meh and used that as a saving mechanism lmao

Is there a way to save the spawn position? I have to reset it every time I load a game

im adding something to my spawn addon where you can change what function the addon hooks for adjusting the players spawn, which may allow it to work for your server

thats odd.... it hooks onto GM:PlayerSpawn (or whatever that one is) then sets the pos of the player....

I run a storm chasing server and i have installed this mod to fix an issue with players spawning in a inescapeable room. I tried this addon and i cant get it to work. i have typed in sv_spawnpos and it says i have set my spawn, only to find out that i spawned right back in the room. please help as i hate having to constantly TP people up to the map.
