Look good, though I think the metal should be a little brighter and the wood should be a little darker. Not sure I like the wood texture. Cool skin though.

btw this is the first version (the 1942 model) not the later (1943-45?) version. Good mod tho

the wood stock is model 2 but the pistol grip is model 1 so you actually made a not real fg 42 model

The metallic parts look good, but the wooden parts make no sense. If that's supposed to be wood, it's too bright, and the visible fibers don't follow the actual model. The wood looks warped, which would be physically impossible.

the fg 42 was produced in 2 patterns, the 1st pattern had a metal stock and a complex and expensive production process wheres the 2nd pattern had a simlplified design with less cost alongwith with a wooden stock.
U just changed the model from 1st pattern to 2nd pattern, excellent job :steammocking:

Just an FYI, the image of the FG42 you used as a reference isn't the same version in game (it actually seems to be a custom build by a group of people). The one you used closely resembles a version issued around 1945, the one in game is an earlier version with a metal stock and different muzzle break.
