after entering the url (from imgur) and pressing update the skin doesnt change and keeps its default appearance

damn. its almost exactly what i wanted but the c_hands dont change with your custom skin (also incompatible with first person body mods, default to alex and steve) and also reverts the skin to default when you die. also c_hands dont look like they bend? i dont think they can which is a shame

Alex's model's skin disappears when the player dies.

the skindex one works, for anyone getting grey skins,
tutorial:
go to the skindex website, create an account if you don't have one already.
upload your skin using the upload tab on skindex
once your skin is uploaded, go to its page on skindex, and you should see a part that has the texture of the skin, right click the texture and click "copy image link"
go back to garry's mod and Ctrl+V then update

Imgur no longer works (it would just make my skin grey). When I attempted google drive, some elements of my skin appeared (but all in the wrong spots and most of the skin was a black blank). Flickr seemed to work the most (but my entire skin is a white blank, it works the most because my hat layers are fully intact).
