to say the issues without getting technical, if her arms were thicker, than her arms and hands would block too much of the screen. (Her fingeres would also clip inside the hand itself due to the bone structure, the proportion trick does not work on viewmodels). Making only the arms thicker and keeping the hands the same would lose the cartoony style of Marina's proportion.
Yes, this is from the Splatoon 2 game; it was ripped by FatalitySonic2. I'm not going against or putting the blame on FatalitySonic2 when I say this, but not all rippers are able to rip models perfectly. There were some issues that I had to fix, such as missing parts of the green fingertips and eyelid textures. It depends on the tools that the ripper uses and their overall skill level for ripping.
