Hm from what I have seen in the room, the one lighthouse station is too low and should hang above the shelf.
That way you wouldn't block the IR light with your head/body. But now that you have a cable, it doesn't really matter. Cable is the best solution if you can hide it.

Haha, yeah I had problems in the past with the lighthouses not seeing each other which is why I'm using the sync cable already.

You'll have to put one lighthouse station a lot higher (which is possible in your room), otherwise you're constantly blocking the IR sync signal. ;-) (or use sync cable)
