@Godfather of Illuminati - The dragonrend longbow won't be enchantable as its ability is far to powerful on its own. I know that's the answer you don't want I do apologize.

now the one thing disturbing me is that i cant enchant the dragonrend and really its the sexiest bow ive ever seen and its a long bow too which is great but i need to enchant it with paralysis and soul trapping but i cant exchange it with a weaker less sexy bow can you possibly add this in?

@DovahKiinKING9.8 - it has a altered texture from the vanilla bow.

does the dragonrend bow have a different texture or is it the same as a vanilla or Dawnguard/Dragonborn model?

this mod have only one problem, i want the nordic longbow but i cant find it and the ID dont work

There is this character called Randal who sells the Fake Daedric Longbow, is there anything else with him or is he just tere for lols? :)

Hey there, I just wanted to say that I love your content. I found an issue with Dragonrend Bow (I am using Skyrim Redone) - it doesn't count dragons killed in the newest version of SkyRe 1.3.01. What is the best way to patch it in, because I see that you've fixed it in standalone version of your mod? Should I install all your bow mods and put them after SkyRe in load order? Thanks a lot :)

@LavaCrafter - try using "help Dragonrend" there should be a bow listed and an ID code for it.

I had all of the Longbow mods and it still told me I needed the master. So I'm not sure what I did wrong if I did anything but I'll just do what you suggested, thanks.

@TFSion - You need the original longbows mod because its the master of longbows dawnguard and longbows dragonborn. Or you could just disable them make the dual sheath patch and re-enable them, but I have been using dual sheath for some time without issue.

Im trying to run these with BOSS for Dual Sheath patch but it keeps telling me that theyre missing masters with the original, dg, and db version and closes itself.

Crim - the longbows have the same requirements as there normal bow counter parts.

@Deadly Caster - it should be loaded after the longbows dawnguard and before longbows perks.

Does this mod just not compatible with the other longbow mods or just not with dawgaurd because this is the only of the four that doesn't like to load.

@lordseiryu - I don't know if this is your character, but characters that have had many mods installed and uninstalled and hold embedded scripts which will often cause couriers to be no shows. This is something I have fixed with the Help Chest in the other longbows mods. I haven't created one for this mod yet because I haven't reached any content from dragonborn yet, but will in the future. Glad it worked enjoy the mod.

Was level 98, Killed Miraak.

Do I have to wait in the DLC zone? I've done about 8 days in (cant remember the name of the dlc, rather drunk), and several days in Windhelm & Whiterun, neither getting the courier to spawn.

Killed my wife (Didn't like her anyways :P ), courier spawned, just for inheritance.

Can't console the bow either - is there something fundamental that I'm missing?

@lordseiryu - have you met both the requirements for dragonrend?

For some reason, I can't get the courier to appear >.<

@grantis_84 I really like the idea of the kill bonuses. On your concern, it would certainly be something to consider. On the other hand, crafting and commands would mitigate the rarity. I think that Skyrim is really lacking in a good "close combat" bow, and using the backbone of your longbows coupled with the ideas you suggested would yeild a truly exquisite mod. I hope you consider it, I don't want to figure out how to mod myself. :)

My only problem with shortbows is over population of bows in drops or have every bow extremely rare to find.

@reeves_chase - I would do it like this less damage, faster draw, no zoom and less total range? Maybe some thing like guaranteed critical after a kill or increased draw speed after each consecutive kill.

@grantis_84 Less damage than the vanilla bows but with a faster fire rate; however, I don't know how much realism would be lost, should the bows draw overly fast.

@reeves_chase - Short bows would be cool but with the introduction of my longbows what more could a short bow do that the regular bows can't? I'm actually asking and not sarcastically.

Whatever you did fixed the issue for me. I know i had just solo killed a dragon before my first message here and it didn't count. To make sure after your fix, i went to two dragon lairs and its counting again. Thanks so much for the quick fix and again for the great mod!

@Spiritreaver1217 - I'm sorry but I can't seem to replicate your issue. I have now killed 12 dragons in a row without issue. I tried and extended the duration of the effect to count dragon kills so update your file and please let me know if that fixes your issue.

@Spiritreaver1217 - I will look into it also if someone else comes in at the last second to make the final blow you dont get the count. Which is usually the case in cities.

Excellent work, i love your longbow series of mods. I just need a bit of help. Recently just got a new character past 60 and got the new Dragonrend bow delivered. Awesome bow btw, love the look with the dragon-runes and color; but the counter has stopped at '3' and i know i've killed more than 10 dragons since i got it. Do i need to do anything to get the counter going again?

i got dragon born i am GETING (have your other 2 bow mods love them!!)
