bad legendary weapon
for the slide I used the method from “The Colonel” (pattern only) … simple and plain engravings. For the receiver otherwise I used stickers+patterns …et voila not so plain engravings anymore.
most engraving skins usually get a bit of leeway and end up with a slightly higher quality to preserve details but only on important parts.

@Mr. Green: Yo thanks mate! Tried out different blues (plus metallic/silver and gold gradients) but maybe i`ll check it out again. But sometimes different parts of the models are darker/ brighter so the gradient differs in its tone without my intention.
Dont know why but looking at it makes me think it should be called "Moonshine"
@猹打不过闰土: Thank you very much!
@ Rex: Thanks Rex for your suggestion. But I think I´ll try it with the discussions section. So I don’t spam the workshop and the screenshot section :).
@ SleepingGood: Thought it look cool :(
@ Alex Haegele: Thank you very much! Well, it shouldn´t be a problem to make a skin for the M9 Beretta like the Samurai Edge from RE. Since it would be mostly done via the base gradient and maybe with blank pattern for a pattern gradient you could get a pretty decent looking skin. Did you try out the workshop editor yourself? I really encourage you to make your idea come true. If you got question, I would help. Oh and one more thing: I recommend not to make a direct copy of the stickers like S.T.A.R.S. etc because of copyright.
@Lammah: Thank you. Tbh I wasn´t quite happy with the engravings on The colonel. But I couldn´t do better when I made the skin. But now I´ve used a sticker in combination with a pattern. Back then I used only a pattern. But I´m still trying to make it look more realistic.
@Lex {GER}: Danke. Ich arbeite dran.
@BonBon: Thanks for your input. The name is not final by now. Maybe I change it to “Firmament” or since it is a german made gun to “Himmelszelt” (german word for firmament). As you can see in the first five (new) pictures I changed some things regarding the greyish color (that´s what you and Rex mentioned). And I also changed the color of the moon and the stars.
@Rex: Oh, ok then I got it wrong :)
But a really good skin
Tbh I don’t get the last part of your comment. Or maybe I do if I replace the s with a t.
