New Comment here 5/12/2022 - It works for DEI, just put the mod first load at the bottom than DEI 1 above it and etc. also to get it to work in game, buy a new spy move them around a bit and boom it works! Thanks!

Do you have other mods enabled with alter how spies work? You have definitely recruited a new spy? It does not work with spies already present at turn 1.

This is a good mod. Ai always cheat by always knowing where your armies are but you can't see where their armies are unless you go near them. This I consider not cheating but even the score of Ai cheating.

I just tried it out and it still works for me. Only thing I noticed was that the small map in the bottom right still showed fog on the first turn you recruit the spy but the is cleared the next turn. There was no fog on the main campaign map or diplomacy either so seems to be fine for me. Have you got other mods in play that could be restricting it?

Yes you can. The same way you can disband a unit by clicking on their picture and selecting the white flag for disband.

donaldclarke1, I do not think that the patch updates affect the pack file that this mod uses so I think the mod should be compatible on both patches. Let me know if you have any issues with it. On my game, the mod manager says it is out of date but the game still runs with it.

Rohansreither, I will have a look into making a half map available soon. I am working on a mod that increases the research rate by giving research buffs to more buildings. I will investigate the half map fog of war afterwards.

Rohansreiter, there is a field in "agent_tables/agents" that sets the spy's line of sight, I am not sure how large the map is so cannot tell you what to set the value to. I set it to 1,000,000 to cover the whole map.

Can I as a layman also change the visual radius of the spy?
would like to see only half of the map at the beginning ... the problem is every martial faction tells you the same war when you uncover the map
