Took a bit longer than I wanted it to, but I've finally gotten around to this, you may find the Definitive Edition version of this mod here:

Any issues with it, please let me know through the comments on that page rather than this.

Hello Sotj & Franzo. Thank you for your interest in the mod, unfortunately I've not played Divinity for almost two years and I've not really got the spare time for it. I won't make any promises or set any ETA's I'm afraid, but if I find the time for it, I'll try to upgrade it so that it is compatible with the Definitive Edition. Stay safe with the corona outbreak everyone!

Jesus, could you make that a bit more spoiler free? I was going through the mod page and this totally spoiled that part of the game. I appreciate the mod, but please do make it a little less difficult for people to find out this sort of information if they're clueless about it.
