Swear only works like 10% of the time. Usually broken though.

Swear bind is still broken and says Im here

swear just says "I'm here"

also having the same issue with the swear menu. that, and most of the voice lines have a delay before playing and are not spammable. also, the voice lines for damnliar/damnliar2 that indicate a special infected is in sight, are also not working. I would assume why, but that doesn't matter, the point is it doesn't work.

same here, was playing with frens earlier as rochelle using swearmenu and she just says "i'm here"

Is it like that on Valve official maps? If it is then they've probably moved lines around for no reason or something and I'd need to fix it.

well actually, its all of the survivors im pretty sure. its the legacy menu, all of them just announce their arrival.

Nick just says he's here? He should be talking about ass clowns and such, he has a lot of swear lines.

its case sensitive, but the commands for "swear" just makes nick say a few variations of "i'm here"

I included the quotations and I wrote bind "v" "spam". I also did it without the quotations and none of them worked. When I hit v nothing happens at all. I also have a problem where I cannot bind console to a key, even if I write bind § toggleconsole it just wont work. In the confic it says that the commands are bound to those keys which I wrote but in-game it won't work.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

I saw Jaiz talking about how they're "already working on making the necessary changes to permit your use of yelling "Boomer!" at the tank". I assume they removed the ability to use those lines on purpose and are undoing it due to community feedback. Or something along those lines.

Either way based on what he said it seems like this mod is unfixable right now but will become fixed later when the game gets updated again.

You're putting the wrong command in. It should be exactly, as an example,

bind x "+mouse_menu custommenu"

Replace z with the key you want it bound to, and replace x with spam, spamalot, damnliar, damnliar2, swearmenu, custommenu, or legacy depending on which menu you want.

I think I found the issue. For some reason, if the survivor hasn't interacted with anything or shot anything once loaded into a level, the voice lines don't play. After shooting my pistol twice, it suddenly worked. Thanks Grug.

Some of the lines don't have quotes for some of the survivors. For example, the Left 4 Dead 1 survivors never meet Virgil so they don't have any lines greeting him. Try using the "Tank" line in the damnliar menu, every survivor has a tank line so that should show you it works.

How active?

While testing out the voice menus I figured out that putting a voice menu on the scroll wheel will instantly activate whatever you last selected. I put spamalot on G and both scroll wheels, so I can select any of the G options then easily scroll to do them. They have a short cooldown so you can use it to activate it normally but with a lot less effort, or you can constantly scroll to say the line as fast as possible.

That's why spamalot has some repeats on it, it's intended for the scroll wheel.

I was gonna get on here to say I didn't enjoy the changes you made but then I read the description. Thanks for the update lol.
